Personally, I also think like that. I dont believe any weekly mangaka able to predict a case for 3 years in advance.

I also think that this case is like a summary / some piece of puzzle that will connect all the clue we already have in the past. Like some correction for the missing link, an answer for questions... and a new level confrontation of Conan and Black Org.

So when he try to make this case, I bet Gosho read all of Conan manga!!! 77 volumes
