hi guys
i've already think about some sort of what gosho has said about the clash of haibara & sera
& we already know that if amuro is bourbon & if okiya is akai, it will be another war between these two
so i prefer to make it between couples: shiho & okiya start to love each other & i'm pretty sure we will see sera & amuro in romantic situations
so... what do u think ?

I would really love to see how shiho kills sera. the akai-bourbon thing is secondary.

I think that anything is possible in this crazy world that is DC.

Though I don't think we'll see Okiya and Haibara in romantic situations.. being in a 7-year-old body.. I think it'd be quite weird.

As for Sera & Amuro, they have like 10-12 years of difference but fortunately Sera is not 7 year old xD
So it could work but in only one sense '^^ (Sera loving Amuro only)

The only thing I can think of this thread is that I am eternally squicked out by the thought of Okiya and Haibara being in "romantic situations". SEVEN YEAR OLD GIRL, MAN. Only physically, but that's more than enough for epic squick.

Totally agreed. Plus, Haibara even being 18-20 years old is still a bit too young for somone like Okiya lol.

He's 27, that seems fine to me.

Okiya and Shiho maybe perfect for each other. Only if Okiya not Akai. Even if Akai never love Akemi I don't think Shiho can accept him.

Age differences feel smaller the older the couple are. For example, a 5-year age difference is creepy if one's 13 and one's 18. It's not if one's 33 and the other's 38.

If both are over about 18 or 19, I'm not going to squick too much about age differences. BUT WHEN SHE IS PHYSICALLY SEVEN IT  IS CREEPY NO MATTER WHAT.

I don't see anything wrong ... Ai can use the antidote to be in her adult form sometimes...you know like Shinichi and Ran...
Moreover,even if Shinichi is in a child body they are a lot of cute scenes between Conan and Ran ,and nobody is disgusted by them...
I don't know why it wouldn't be possible with Okiya and Ai...

Actually, they are reeeeeally dancing on the edge of grossing me out with that in the anime lately, especially in the theme songs.

But Ai's been creepily over-sexualized even in her seven-year-old form since the beginning, so I won't be surprised if Gosho is going for this. Disappointed, but not surprised.

I don't really watch the anime, but I did see a recent title sequence with Ran in a white dress in some kinda post-apocalyptic scenario, and it ends with Ran lying on top of Shinichi, looking down on him in a typical romantic pose that generally leads to snogging and more.

Except he's not Shinichi. He's Conan. SHE'S LYING ON TOP OF AND LOOKING LOVINGLY DOWN AT A SEVEN YEAR OLD BOY AND IT IS CREEPY.

There's a difference between Conan & Ran and Ai & Okiya...
One is a difference of 10 years while the other 20 years.. it would be more pedophile than romantic/cute for Okiya if he has "romantic situations" with Haibara... for an adult who's 27 years old :s

I'm sorry but I can't imagine romantic situations of Okiya&Haibara ; it just doesn't fit for me.

I can't really see that happen too sorry. I don't really think Haibara feels/will feel love for Okiya and at the point where she's gonna take APTX antidote to be with Okiya. Plus, it would put her in danger if she does things like that.
