Hello i am someone who never starts topics here.... because i am quite a dumbo & am not even 10% smart as Conan who can post any deductions...... But haah, finally.... i found something to talk about....
It's about Bourbon arc finally becoming a tinsy bit appealing. Since all you smart people have already figured out who is who, there wasn't much left to look forward to, But this dash of romantic scenario b/w akai-shiho will surely get more interesting...
Sooner or later this topic would've started, So what do you say?
Do you approve of any progress b/w them
OR
You want Shiho to love Shinichi only...
OR
Is it even possible to love your late sister's ex-lover who is responsible for her death.
AND
What if this turns into another catastrophe for Shiho... where only she loves but gets treated like a kid sis.. {{ P.S.i ain't a lolicon}}

See this topic's got potential.....

the title made me think of phantom of baker street. Why is Noah's ark there? what dose Noah have to do with Akai-shiho ship?

because obviously Akai and Shiho will need to board Noah's ark so that when the world is flooded with the tears of AiCon shippers for 40 days and 40 nights, they will be able to repopulate the world.

I am pretty sure that all-those-who-hate-pairings are face-palming at this thread.
At the same time, pairing threads has become way too cliched so..

As I said I support this pairing only if Gosho puts some effort on it,I want a well built relationship between them, because I think this couple has potential...
Some people think that dating the boyfriend of her sister is wrong, but I disagree with that...If she were alive of course I wouldn't support ShihoxAkai, but since she's dead it's not that much a problem for me,as long as the two of them are happy...
Moreover Jodie isn't a good match for Akai in my opinion
I don't really care that much if they aren't together in the end,but since they were close in the past,I really think this pairing would be interesting...
An other option would be that Ai fall in love with Akai but he would just treat her like a little sister...that would be sad for Ai but interesting in some way^^

I think this one is most probable..... Ai=sorrow.... her character setup won't change that easily...... Hell! why are all dc girls so unlucky in love! exception Sato..... but Ran, Sonoko, Kazuha... they are all chasing after their guys... but in vain
Yeah but we are all sure that they will be with the boy they love, there isn't any mystery about their future... Concerning Ai nothing is certain.
Ai has changed in her personality, she's not sad and depressed like in the past...That would be a good step in her character development if she finally find a guy who loves her, after all the bad things she has lived...

Some people are in favour of ConanxAyumi...I don't see anything wrong in shipping AkaixShiho who seemed to be close in the past...

I think you misunderstand the nature of shipping. Logic and plausibility are both optional.

That is... The truest thing I've ever read ~nya. KaiShin has no logic after all...
It's just so awesome!!!

I defy your claim of no logic. The boys are in remarkably similar situations and have very few people who can truly understand what they go through. They are both extremely intelligent, have not dissimilar concepts of justice and law, similar needs for the spotlight and highly compatible core beliefs. Also, they already respect each other greatly and have decent rapport despite being nominally on opposite sides.
Which is why KaiShin is the bestest ship ever ever ever.

I think the Akai and Shiho interaction is a lot more interesting to look at from the non-romantic relationship angle than as a ship. Ai tended to be into the protector figures because she was always very centered on her own security. I feel that this was a major part of the reason she first was attracted to Conan: he was smart, skilled, and steadfast enough to defend her should the need arise, and she was in serious need of that stability. I think the like of protector figures also got her into trouble with Gin in the first place because mafia type groups tend to be scary and lethal places without allies. Meanwhile, Haibara's character has developed, and she has since backed off of Conan, not only because Ran was there to block, but also because Haibara is now less centered on her own security.
Akai would have been a godsend for her back in Volume 18. Now, not so much because Ai is far more self reliant. I think she is going to push him away, not because he is Akai and somewhat creepy, but because she doesn't need him. I think it will be interesting how Akai is going take this, especially if the reason he is playing guardian angel is Akemi's promise. The Shiho that Akemi would have written to Akai about and the current Shiho are not the same, so he is going to have to chose between Shiho's preference and Akemi's promise at some point. I think he will ultimately decide in favor of Shiho, but just how persistent is he going to be before he gets the hint he is really not wanted (for good reasons)?
