Eisuke's decision

That question has been bothering me for some time: what do you think about Eisuke's decision? To be honest, I was rather disappointed he chose such an organization as the CIA and not the FBI or the police. Secret service organizations like the KGB, the CIA and other national securities are often compromised and commit foul crimes in the name of their nations, like killing people considered “annoyingâ€

you don't learn the totally sweet secret martial arts techniques if you just join the FBI.
anyway, I don't really see much wrong with it, the idea of "pure-hearted character goes joins a corrupt organization to make it better" idea isn't that new of a story component. Though, I doubt any corruption in the CIA will be a story component of DC.
not to mention, his sister was part of the CIA as well (and their father I believe), so it makes more sense for him to join the CIA than another branch.
tldr: don't really care where Eisuke went, as long as it was out of the plot.

He left, that's all that matters.
'I don't care'.

What the CIA did/does is really not significant here.
The CIA in DC is an organization based on the real-life CIA, just like the FBI in DC is an organization loosely based on the real-life FBI.
That said, Eisuke didn't actually join the CIA yet (or at least there is no indication that he did). He just said that he wants to join the CIA.

Same here. I hope he's a corpse next time he shows up.

Poor Eisuke!

Why do characters like Genta, Eisuke, Yamamura etc always get bashed? They may be useless but, in my opinion, useless characters are also necessary (although this statement doesn't seem to make any sense) because they make the story less dark and serious. There are people who like dark stories though.

You see, I'm one of those crazies that actually likes Eisuke. Yamamura has his moments, too, but Genta gets on my nerves. Something about his attitude just irks me (I realize he's just a kid, but still).
Anyway, joining the CIA is Eisuke's decisions and it's not terribly surprising that he did. I don't have a problem with it at all.

I also feel sympathy for him, that's why his decision is not indifferent to me. He surely doesn't know what he may be getting into. I also feel pity for him because of his unrequited love for Ran (although I am happy they don't get together, as I root for Shinichi).

I think Gosho should make him murder people for reasons other than revenge. It would be more realistic, which I need in my manga.
I'm assuming that's what he posted anyway.

If you all need an Eisuke hate thread, go make one. It would be better to stay on topic out of courtesy to the OP.
He hasn't joined the CIA yet. Assuming he does eventually, I wonder if he'll become more cynical as he has to deal with the gray actions of the intelligence system? He think he should have thought about it some more.

I don't really care, but if he reappears as a highly-trained CIA operative kicking everybody's ass it will be awesome.

Sorry, Chek.
Anyway, unlike most people I don't have a negative view of the CIA, so I don't think Eisuke has anything to worry about.

You can't really join the CIA until you've graduated from high school, anyhow.
