On the one hand she resembles Eisuke accoridng to the behavior, but if she is the sister of Akai, then she has got a close relationship to a major character.Will she dissappear like Eisuke or might she even accompanie Conan in the last fight? What do you think?I´m personally a bit confused about her role.

She will leave back to America some day. Then couple months later we have another mysterious new character who turns out to be Camel´s sibling. After him it´s Jodie´s turn. Or maybe the other way around. Because every agent in this show needs to have younger sister/brother.

First she kills Genta, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, Hakuba & Ran, then Shiho can stop her with a pullet in her head. Happy end.

And every major character must also have a love interest, preferably in the form of a childhood friend.

This is very true. Not to mention, the two main female detectives we've seen (Natsuki and of course Sera) have both been mistaken for guys. If Sera ends up dying or something...it's almost like the act of being a female detective must be punished xD

Yeah, besides, Jodie is from the FBI, right? and Kir from CIA, Sera MUST be a good detective too, since Jodie & Kir are good on what they do. And Natsuki wasn't so bad, if she wasn't a killer.

I suppose there is Sato and Eri yet. ...Of course, Sato isn't showing up nowadays

And since you named her, that too! Women CAN be succesfull as detective or something related to justice, so I don't see why Sera can't stay as a detective. Besides everyone thinks that she's not good, just because she didn't solve that case of the book and three writers. And also because she didn't participated on that Okasa & Tokyo dialect case. I have a theory for both.

1. As for a girl, is not normal to remain calmly about someone saying that he will blow up everything, so what you think first? get rid of the guy. Though they tried (Ran and Sera9 they failed, so she decided to ambush him in order to kill him, but Ran stopped it (I don't have to explain this, do I?). Then she decided to follow the game and  that's when Kudo shows up! So, she decides to let the detective talk about it and gifure out about him, since we can see that Sera has an interest in Shinichi (not THAT KIND of interest).

2. This is simple, she was seeing who was the best between Heiji and "Shinichi" and, at the same time, analyzing Conan's relation with Shinichi. There's also the fact of FBI being in there, so she had other stuff to think about.

So, she's NOT a bad detective!!
