Anyways it is possible, since it gives an opportunity for Conan to try out a new antidote every time he falls sick.
And that could lead to some interesting stuff.

I think, or at least hope, that we'll get something with this case. Haibara's little joking about Conan having an upper respiratory tract infection, essentially a fancy way of saying a cold, is most likely going to have some importance since Gosho doesn't tend to throw things like that in just for the heck of it very often. Not that it doesn't happen.
  Unfortunately though, we DID just have the London case, which included Conan changing back, so I think that makes it less likely that we'll get another so soon. If we do get a plot case here however, it may be a sign that Gosho's trying to wrap up the series relatively soon...

I hope that this is gonna lead to something significant and of note, but sadly I'm feeling like this will just end up bein a tease D:

Yeah, pretty much my thoughts exactly.

this sick is after the London trip. could just be an after effect of the anti-drug But it will be interesting to see how severe it gets.

Hmm... I used to think that maybe the antidote in the end would be Conan's heart stopping for a few moments. Maybe...?

it getting severe would be interesting but him NOT dying would be better. like if he got a hard disease of something. or even cancer..(i'm an angst queen) but not enouh for him to die

Ok how about this. He faints and then goes into a coma, but does not need life support.

My thinking is this. If the cold is severe enough, it might mean his body has fought and beat the anti-drug. He now has anti-drug antibodies and the anti-drug will no longer work without a major change to it.

Well actually when I saw the first page I was like:  Conan has naughty dreams! But when it turned out to be a cold I was like: OMG! Yes! He will change back to Shinichi right in front of Ran cause she will give him some medicine that will give this effect.

I think Conan was made sick to be the reason why he wasn't there with DB (this is one of few, if not the only one, cases where conan wasn't with DB).. Something have to happen to Conan because orelse it's not making any sense that the DB (excluding Conan) will solve the case, since it's always Conan who lead them..
