It is the usual vote for the culprit poll. Hurray for a three suspect case; it feels like forever since we had one of these. Actually I'm not sure if the person is even dead, but I got impatient and just decided to get a poll going so case discussion can begin. Names, humor, and further details about whether the person is actually dead will be added when a translation is posted.

I will wait for the translation. I'm glad that the usual 3-suspect case has an interesting surrounding and a romance-line too.

I vote that Conan is gonna come up with very elaborate scheme to prove the identity of the murderer, but before he can finish the victim miraculously revives because her constitution failed to give in to the cyanide and the story ends with everyone living happily ever after.

Next case: Ran killed Sonoko because she was pestering her about Shinichi too much. Now it is Conan's job to help Ran cover the murder so nobody ever figures it out.

Okay, having now read the file, I shall give my non-smart ass response.

I believe the culprit is Hachiya Kiichi.  He brings up the dead former classmate, which just feels like a red flag.  Everyone had an opportunity to give her cyanide, assuming it was actually cyanide poisoning.  Furthermore, it looked as if he were the one who initiated the idea to scare, and escort as well, the girls into the haunted house.

I love the ending sentence "Is the overly grotesque manner of death a suicide ? Or...?". After 750+ chapters, I really do wonder.
