Not only that, but we still have the Bourbon thing going on right now. Why to try to insert more B.O. when he still haven't resolved that long arc. To be fair, the dark footprint/contact with the Black Org case (Conan in the locker) was pretty much unrelated to Vermouth despite being in the middle of that arc. Akai had a cameo or two, but it was nothing very plot substantial.
