There are many, many cases where Conan gave him obvious hints to solve the case (Most prominently Kogoro's Class Reunion Case).
Conan was always behind him while he was "solving" the cases in the "Sleeping Kogoro" mode. (He definitely enjoys reading newspapers about his successes.)
Contrast the deductions of "Sleeping Kogoro" and Conan's hints and he should at least suspect a connection between Sleeping Kogoro and Conan (especially since Sleeping Kogoro never appears when Conan isn't around).

Most importantly, there are several occasions where he heard "his" voice behind him BEFORE he was knocked out. Three prominent examples are listed below (in each case Kogoro actually blurted out, "That wasn't me!" before being tranquilized)
- Vol 9 File 10, he heard his voice telling the inspector to stop in the Bathroom Drowning Case.
- Vol 18 File 2, he heard his voice shouting "Not so fast" before a group journalist.
- Vol 59 File 4, he heard his voice claiming that he can prove that Eri's beautician was the murderer (in front of Eri no less).

When Kogoro hears his own voice coming from somewhere other than his own mouth he should immediately suspect that something is amiss.

I've always felt that he knows it and he's exploiting it to the hilt.

To him the only possibility is that he's just an amazing detective. His ego is too huge to think of any else.

well dilbert sed it correctly, why would he care if he is getting all the glory? i mean u get famous by falling asleep, how good is that? 

Maybe he is the BO Boss... he knows already Conan's true identity but he wont say a thing until he get him..... Or maybe he is just Kogoro 

me my self i think he knows but in meny ways i think he dont have a clue like in the part that he says ( so you dont waste more water make conan take a shawere weth you 2 ) and ran all mad and says its not time 2 tech him this kind of things yet  ) 

Kogoro can't be the BO Boss cause in ep. 425 at the end Gin wanted Chianti and Korn to kill Conan and Kogoro but why would Gin want to kill his Boss?

^well I think Gin hasn't really seen the Boss directly so that's why, but lets leave it at that

I think Kogoro knows Conan does all the detective work and just uses Conan to get the glory. He doesn't know who Conan really is, he just wants to have the spotlight. =)

I think Kogoro's ego won't let him consider the possibility of a 7-year-old being able to solve crimes that he hasn't the foggiest clue on. If he would take the time to think about it logically, putting his ego aside, he might figure it out, but it's very unlikely.

Kogoro's biggest flaw has always been that he sees the most obvious explanation rather than the reality beneath the surface.  The idea that a seven year old has been solving these mysteries just wouldn't cross his mind.  His ego just leads him to not think about his "memory losses" too much.

And if he did know Conan was Shinichi, he wouldn't let him stay so close to his daughter.  (The shower example has always been brought up and yet Kogoro was outraged that Shinichi got a flash of panties.)

HE WON'T, even most of the characters in the DC world are stupid enough not to sense Conan solving the case. If I was there, I'd just look at his mouth.

If you don't believe me, do this at home: talk with your mouth closed. If you can, post in on YouTube, Kogoro would watch you

You can, actually, that's what ventriloquists do. It just takes a bit of practice...

Ventriloquism actually requires partially open lips... But well, aside from that anyone could notice that the "voice" does not really come from his mouth (even if Conan uses a speaker on Kogoro's collar. Anyone should have noticed that, it's just unnatural not to... really.

in real life, of course it doesn't work, but it's probably the only way to do it without Conan doing the deduction show.
