First the surprising invitation to London.
Second the Greek/Rome Gods names. Apollo/Minerva/Ares/Hades/Hestia. If they were related ok but this...
Third: The big bad serialkiller who steals heards und blow up hospitals
Fourth: The really easy to find Hints.
Fifth: Shinichis dream-case in London.
Sixth: The vague outcame of the case and his return flight.
There wans't a dream-case in the manga before, but it would make sense.
Fixed subject to be less spoilerific when viewing main page - Abs.

It's not a dream. Gosho said that in this arc there will be some ShinRan developement, so it wouldn't make sense if it were just a dream.

If so, then the person who's having a dream is having a very long one at that.

Shinichi was knocked out by Gin in chapter 1, so he is in cma now, which explain the lenghtiness of the story.

If this was the case with the case, I'm sure within 24 hours gosho would be dead.

OHHHHHH! That explains the weird timeline, with several winters in less than a year.

I don't think this makes any sense.
If it's awkward ways to start a case, Kichiemon's mansion takes the cake. And don't forget every single time Agasa goes on an excursion with Conan and either a case occurs at the destination, or the beetle breaks down and a case occurs wherever Agasa and the db decide to stay/get repairs.
Themed names are not uncommon; there have been several cases with these such as one involving Shogi (researcher at ski lodge case), the recent Fire dog case, and the Red Wall case.
Bomber/arson criminals who go on rampages aren't unheard of either: the bomber from Matsuda redux case, the bomber from the baseball stadium case, the arsonist from Sato's father's death case, and the gunner in the soccer stadium threat case come to mind.
Furthermore, this isn't that unusual for a case, the Matsuda Jinpei redux case, the baseball stadium case, and Shinichi and Ran's elementary school case (there are lots of similar cases) are pretty similar in terms of case style involving a written clue or series of clues.
Shinichi never had a dream case in London. There have been two cases (Shinichi's first case V21, and Golden apple V34/35) where the Ran recalled the case in her sleep, but both cases actually happened. Also it was clear at the time she was dreaming about them.
