What do you think the deeper meaning of this song is? Here's the text in Romaji and an English translation for easy reference:
Several things come to mind:
As far as I know, there are never more than 7 members of the BO worthy of a Spirit nickname. If one of them dies or leaves the organization, they are replaced(Bourbon). So the 7 children might be these 7 members. (there are a couple holes in this theory)
If it's about the seventh child, it would be about a specific BO member. I call Shiho.
But more important, this made me realise how crows are an important theme for the BO. And there is one characters who wears the crows in his name: Renya Karasuma, the owner of the villa in volume 30, which could even be the old nest on the mountain the song refers to.
Ai thinks about a project that has started 50 years ago. The auction in said villa was 50 years ago. Karasuma is
said to have died at the age of almost 100. Could it be him the BO are trying to revive? Or is he still alive and kicking, having an entire mafia organization at his disposal? Conan also never solved the mystery of what happened 50years ago. Very uncommon. Also his emblem prominently features a crow.
This is my interpretation of this songs. What are your thoughts about it?

Seems Like I'm not giving a good first impression. Two stupid mistakes like that in a row already. Please delete.

Nah, it's cool. There wasn't much discussion about what it meant to the story in that thread.

I really want to continue this discussion.
I haven't watched the episode I said I would, but I will eventually.
If the BO boss = the mother crow. So does this infer that the BO boss is female?
Then the members: Gin, Vodka, Vermouth, Kir, Chianti, Korn and Bourbon are it's children.
Also your theory about the villa, and Renya Karasuma seems possible.
What does Renya Karasuma translate to in English?

It could mean that, but it could still be a man who is like a mother to the BO. But a woman does seem more likely. Especially since there are several female members in the BO, which seems unusual for a mafia.
So Karasuma means circle of crows? (and Renya
lotus guy? wth?) Seems like an obvious hint to me...

true, it was strange how his information was inserted to so much details for a character who'll never shows up ...

Well, Karasuma Renya is male, right?

Funny thing about this cap. The kanji for "Ren" is wrong! In the manga, it is

That's funny.
The whole crow thing is suspicious given what we know above the Org's sense of symbolism, but as for Karasuma Renya, why would someone in the Org build a mansion with a layer of freaking gold on the outside? That's pretty ridiculously ostentatious. I really haven't considered this case as much as I should have because this was a pretty silly case with marijuana somehow driving people into an orgy of murder.

That has been bugging me as well. And why would he hide it?
I don't think this is a silly case It was a special and they are frequently BO-related. So maybe some other specials deserve to be scrutinized as well?
And marijuana driving people into an orgy of murder? There might be a lot of propaganda against pot but Gosho would have researched. And even if Gosho honestly thought that it would have that kind of effect, we don't learn anything about these mysterious men and their true motivation. Has there ever been a mystery unsolved?

I honestly don't remember this episode at all.
I need to rewatch it.

Can you clarify on what you mean by the BO's symbolism?
Also, the gold shows wealth.

I assume the BO boss would be rich.
