I don't think this should really merit its own thread, but I couldn't decide on a thread to tack it onto, so here goes...

I noticed something unexpected in one of the panels right before the showdown with Vermouth. In V42-1 we see Vermouth (as herself) at an airport dressed up. Why would she be at the airport? She could be picking up Calvados, but if she is, why would she say "Sorry to keep you waiting," over the phone rather than to him in person? If he isn't at the airport yet with her, why would he be waiting?
If she isn't at the airport to pick up Calvados, is she there to travel herself? It doesn't seem likely she would be traveling out of town since earlier in the chapter (V41-10) she was listening in to Conan, Haibara, and Agasa's conversation at Agasa's house using bugs - presumably at Araide's office since that is where the dartboard is. Vermouth is back at her office right after the case in V42-05. I don't think she would want to take a break traveling somewhere when she is gearing up for her party plan and needs to keep abreast of the going-ons in the Agasa household and the FBI's movements.
It's possible the time frame of this scene might be out of sequence as was the case with some of Vermouth's other scenes (the dartboard one for example.) If this is the case, when would it happen?
Did I make an errant assumption in my logic or does anyone have any hypotheses on why she might be at the airport?

Another two things, in her conversation with Calvados she says:
"Sorry to keep you waiting..."
"Nevermind, though when I think I can't help you..."
"But if you can catch that one person, please finish her off..."

What does Vermouth mean by "Nevermind, though when I think I can't help you..."? The line sounds awkward so I am concerned about the translation.

Also, is "her" in the last line really gender specific? I figure she is referring to Jodie or Akai depending on the type of pronoun, so I don't really have a problem with who the "her" (or unspecific him/her) is.

Basically there is no "he" or "she" or "it" specified. It's a no-subject/understood subject sentence.

Usually the translators are trying to do the "right thing" for general translations and infer gender pronouns based on context rather than use awkward literal translations. Even DCTP's Miyano does that (it'll be interesting to see if the fansubs keep Miyano's assumptions about something Okiya says in the upcoming Org. story). Miyano also kinda messed up Paper Airplane by turning Ran's, "I'm at Shin'ichi's place," into "I'm at your place,"* after she lied to Okiya about,"Kin'ichi" being her phone contact (yes, Okiya probably didn't buy her lie in the first place, but she didn't obviously contradict it in Okiya's hearing). Aoyama's too tricky for rote translation "best practices" to work well.

* The current DCTP scanslation does go with, "...Shin'ichi's house." One Manga still has it as, "...your home."

Yeah.  I'm not sure I wouldn't have used "her" either for the scanlation in the scenario above, just because I can't use "it," and if I use "them" it would sound like they're talking about more than one person.  Which, in all likelihood they could have been.

fair enough, I'm just used to much of the current translation on OneManga being horrible so I automatically assumed it was another huge mistake

Option. No way to prove it. Vermouth is there to board a plane. She need to go somewhere. She already know what she needs to know, so she can take her leave. She promised Calvados she call him. Remember she need to set up the boat part. So I guess she is headed for the boat killer to set them up and when she done she flies back.

I occasionally look for the manga version of some of my favorite parts when I am bored and skim through (not even that) the stuff recently animated. Also, when I rewatched the series I was inpatient and read the manga versions of not yet released episodes.

or it might be another one of those things that Gosho has probably forgotten about already (the sms from Akemi to Akai, Ai's mother message and a bunch of other stuff)

So if 725-331=394 and Vermouth's conversation with Calvados took place in 42-1 aka 425, we may get a solution to that by 425+394=819. 

I wouldn't be surprised. Let's just wait another two years and we'll find out if your calculations were right XD
