Soon it will be a year since we had the last B.O. related files, and throughout this year, we didn't see Okiya even once.
Last year, before the B.O. files, we had a Heiji case, and lo and behold, Heiji is in the current case. Can it be that we shall soon have have the plot again?

I sure hope so, but my instinct tells me not to hold my breath.  :P

I would, but I'm afraid I'll only be disappointed. The same name thing seems like it might lead to something interesting, but I highly doubt it.

Heiji: Harbinger of Plot!

I'd like to guarantee right now that this will be the last huge gap between plot cases.

And I'd like to believe you. I even wish that this case would lead into a suspicion case, (probably because of the same name deal in this case), but even that seems highly unlikely. 

no.... the BO wont have a big confrotation in near future... the stage is too big..

aoyama is trying to create the background story and supporting character.

just like kaito, lady phantom, heiji, hakuba..... ect ect...

Well, looking back at things, there tends to be large gaps between plot cases in the beginning of an arc, but with only two arcs to generalize from, I can't really call it a trend...

I keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. It's just too much of a coincidence to encounter someone with exactly the same name (although I'd expect the BO at least to investigate the recklessness of someone living so out in the open after being "murdered" by them, instead of immediately going for the kill). He only took on his maiden's name very recently, so there's a chance the BO might pass by. That, and the case has been solved way too quickly. Even the other Heji cases weren't solved (or seemed to be solved) so fast as far as I can remember, not from the very first chapter.

And I seriously hope Gosho won't turn the same name thing into a red herring. That'd be just too lame, and soooooooooooooo hyping disappointing.

So the next one is a Heiji case? Yay =) But some more plotrelated cases would be nice

From the sounds of it, it possibly is plot. I need to learn to read kanji so i'm not waiting for the scanlations. *adds it to massive To Do List*

No, 734 doesn't have any connections to the org plot as far as I can tell yet. It does however have the potential to be a long case.

Yeah,me too...everytime i hope for a BO case and i'm always disappointed...i mean,1 year without an Okiya case,or real BO case...
and now i think the current case will be long,so we'll have to wait more for a great BO case...
