It is a theme that runs whenever a case in the manga and go to start another, put on that we think is going to be treated.
File 728: What will you?

U want us to write what we think the File 728 is going to be about?? .... if it's not that then i ve to return to my english lesons xD

Maybe Kei.Akai refers to something like is it going to be a kidnapping, or poisoning, shooting with a gun, or blackmailing or whatever.

Hm... I vote for "looking for a lost person" theme. Just for fun, no logic behind it.

Gin is beheaded on a roller coaster.  The main suspect is Vodka, who was sitting next to him, and has a bloody knife in his purse briefcase...

I sure hope 728 is the bloody plot. It's been half a year since that came up and we are about 2.5 years into the Bourbon/Okiya arc assuming 46 chaps per year (source = 727 chaps/15.83 years). For comparison, the entire Kir arc was a little over two years. The Vermouth arc was about 4 and a third years long, but I feel like the plot came around more often despite it being longer.

Yes, it's time we relearned those "Online Translator English" lessons again.

And well, there could be a chance the next arc is plot related, Conan & co. were at a gathering of a lot of famous people during this past case. With a bit of luck (misfortune for Conan), someone from the BO was there and noticed Conan's suspicious behaviour. Maybe Gin finally came true to his word to keep Kogoro under watch, and sent some henchman?

Aside from that, I'm believing for some time now that Ran knows who Conan really is, but just keeps quiet about it. I remember her asking Conan's thoughts in one of the latest cases, showing off those gothic lolita clothes to Conan while blushing, and now she cryingly looked at him when 'realizing' she wouldn't get any white day present. Hopefully it'll come up sooner or later, preferably during a BO- or okiya-case (so an entire arc won't focus on that alone again, only to end with Conan successfully eluding Ran).

728 will probably be a detective boys case...have we had one in a while? No, I don't think so. Meh. I don't think it'll be a BO plot advancement...(or a Satou/Takagi advancement either )

Might be Heiji as well..

The last Heiji appearance was chapter 695, thats about 32 chapter ago (or about 8 months, if 1 month = 4 chapters)

If this coming one isn't a Heiji case, the next one probably is.  I believe they like to have two in the bank before animating one of them, and the only remaining one of his left will likely be animated in May.

Oh really? Then I agree with you that the next case is probably a heiji case.

I hope it's not a Detective Boys case unless there's a whole lot of Haibara in it. Maybe a Conan-lite case where Haibara has to solve it? (Althought that just sort of happened with the last Kid case.)

Otherwise, I'm up for some Heiji. Maybe Kazuha gets kidnapped?  :o
