just realized that the most recent heist is the first time that Kid used violence and/or physically injured someone (and for no better reason than self-gain to escape). The worst he has done in the past is knocking out the people he needs to imposter with sleeping gas, unless I forgot something... By far, this feels like the worst case involving Kid (not much cause and effect like previous ones); and it has definitely cost him some popularity this time...

I'm not much of a KID fan at all, and even I didn't care for the last case because of his using violence, since it goes against what his character has been like since he was first introduced into the series.

To be, KID using a stun gun on Conan made me think that it wasn't the real KID in the first place.

I really am surprised. I think the taser was awfully OOC for Kid. If Kirin's Horn had turned out to be Pandora, if Snake was loitering around, if something serious was happening, then I could understand the change in a darker direction. But it was just messing with Jirokichi, in what felt to me like a significantly less clever manner than normal. I don't know. The whole case disappointed me, to be honest.

It probably was only a plot device, if Conan was put asleep in a more peaceful manner, or Kid like, the fans could have figured the reason behind knocking him out. This way it seemed to offer a chance of a third party involved...

That's a good observation. I didn't think about it that way before.

That's a good observation. I didn't think about it that way before.

If it was that, it was pretty horribly done. None of the characters seemed to think or suspect that anyone besides Kid was involved. You would think that if it had been intentional, it would have been milked more.
