RAVEN CHASER afterschock!!

there is no doubt for me that MOVIE 13 was phenomenal!
after watching it, it answered many of my questions from which we had from the trailers, yet now after watching the movie it has aroused so many more questions.. 
let's try discussing them??

-why doesn't Vermouth ever tell the BOSS that conan is actually Shinichi?
-can ran actually me any more stupid -__-? (how can shinichi's voice be heard and be gone in a sec?)
-what happened to the memory card,? did it really just simply get shot down by Gin?
-what does Satou realize about the BO and how will it affect the story line?
-after Conan destroyed the helicopter, will it cause Gin to do some more investigating

SOO many questions left unanswered, hopefully they will be answered in the coming mangas or maybe the last 14th movie!

Not canon.

In more words:

Nothing in this movie (or any of the movies, or any of the Anime Originals, or OVAs, or Magic Files) has anything to do with the ACTUAL story... which would be solely what's in the manga.  So, as far as when you're reading the manga, this never happened.

Now, as far as your question re: Vermouth (because it's a valid question even outside of the movie) - I'm guessing she 1) feels a sort of debt towards Shinichi, and 2) is, like Haibara, intriuged by him.  There is also the added factor that she was pretty much best friends with his mom, but that alone didn't mean much the first time they met.  Oh, and 3) she might secretly want Shinichi to destroy the organization, and he can't do that if he's dead.

But still, Vermouth still hasn't revealed Conan to her boss.  It's a canon fact for the anime and the manga.  The movie may not be a "canon" source, but that aspect did remain consistent to the manga/anime.

I would still like to know what it is she has planned for him or why she does seem to do things her own way (which seems to annoy Gin).  I'm pretty sure she knows Ai = Sherry (since she was disguised as Araide) and I'm sure she suspects something about Conan.  Why is Vermouth biding her time?

Sharon Vineyard was originally brought on by the CIA to infiltrate the Black Org and ultimately was thought to have defected. This information was kept top-secret (thus why the FBI doesn't know about it), and while Vermouth actually has been involved in a lot of the Org's activity, it can be explained as part of the cover for the Organization. In the end, it can be revealed that she was thought to be a traitor by the CIA, when really she was just doing what it took to gain absolute trust from her fellow members (this also goes into Gin's 'sense' that something's up with her). She can be revealed just in time to save Haibara from Gin or something and bam, everybody wins.

Some people may say, "Oh, but she's helped kill people (in Japan, especially)." The sad thing is that the CIA is willing--under their government cover--to do away with anyone that will further their objectives (especially foreigners).

To me, that's the ideal closure for the character. I put it in spoiler tags simply because the last time I posted something similar, someone accused me of spoiling the future of the series.

Yes..

Yes it got shot... trajectory of the rifle bullet was through the memory card then to his heart...err at least it looked that way, but since he was able to speak later on then it missed his vital organ and also as stated by conan.

These two are probably the closest thing we can call a canon in this movie...

I don't see a reason why it can't be true but still I think she is very, very cold and she doesn't just kill for the purpose of "furthering her objective.." but also kills just for fun, and that probably make her more evil than any CIA agent or even BO member.  only thing that make her look less evil is she want destroy BO

she tried to kill Shinichi and Ran even though they knew each other, and that's cold. -.-
But moreover, she tried to kill Araide just cause she wanted to find about Conan's identity, and she wanted to kill Sherry just cause she hated her drug  >:( I don't think a CIA agent can be as selfish as that... and just like what Jodie say she really care nothing about other ppl's life.  she does have compassion for Shinichi and Ran but that's only bc they saved her at NY.

Haven't you read/watched enough Detective Conan to not already know the answer to that?  Stick with working for a person you hate so that when the opportunity presents itself, you can get revenge on those who wronged you.  I know that angle has been used in the series quite a few times.

You can tell through Irish's words that his only beef was with Gin.  He wanted to put Gin in his place, and he was planning on doing that by presenting evidence to the Boss (who he should actually hate more for giving the order to kill his father figure).

Gin's actually a good guy!  He's forced to kill people by that mean Boss guy!  He had no other choice!
