So I saw the raw (raw-paradise) and it seems like the spoiler this week was correct.

Three months is too short to wrap up DC. I don't think this forum is the only one asking for the end, but I sure hope it's approaching!

It's the first time I felt good about opening a spoiler thread

If this trend continues, to wrap up things between couple and side character..


Then we would still have final conclusion arc between :
1. Sonoko and Makoto

2. Yumi x

3. KID x Conan (would be the last confrontation, then they would work together for the final BO arc)
or maybe 4. KID x Sonoko granpa (forgot his name)

5. Chiba x

any other ideas ?

I meant that I think Gosho will make a B.O. case in the new year, not end the series in the new year.

Hope so. KID can be considered more or less major. We've seen Hakuba twice, Aoko like once, and Akako not at all. Of course we all love KID, but what about the other MKs?

After Takagi/Sato, then Shiratori/Kobayashi, will Kogoro and Eri reconciliation is next, after all the lovers united, Ran discovered Conan's true identify, then it will enter the final BO case.

Even Gosho finally let Takagi and Sato completed their romantic development (at the beginning I think it will never happen), why can't Gosho make Kogoro and Eri completed their reconciliation soon.

Oh, we've seen Akako.  Just in the one episode, but not something easily forgotten.

Someone translated 709 here. Considering this is a stalking case, wouldn't Eri realize it is unwise to leave the drunken stalked woman in an unlocked room when her stalker might be around? Also, Conan is the jinx and Kogoro is an idiot. Maybe the receipt for the necklace is something he picked up from one of his marital infidelity investigations and not something he actually bought since Kogoro seems confused when Ran brought up the subject.

Page 1 Cover: Conan looking at one of those spin the wheel, ball drops out prize machines. They were shown in the lucky guy filler case
Page 2: Kogoro is reading a newspaper and Ran is dusting. There is a calender set to October on the wall.
Page 3: Ran and Conan are out walking with Kogoro's wallet. Ran is surprised by the 50000 yen receipt for the necklace.
Page 4: Ran is excited about Kogoro getting it for Eri, we have a cute panel of child Ran with a headband. Ran sees the prize spinner ahead.
Page 5: Ran sees the prize for the hotel. Being the incarnation of luck in games she wins although it doesn't show the moment. Back at Kogoro's, he is surprised. Ran is really excited, winking and everything.
Page 6: Eri is working on the computer and Goro is lying nearby. He looks like he has gotten bigger to me. Eri blushes as the conversation progresses.
Page 7: At the hotel, Kogoro is blobbing on the bed watching TV.  Ran is talking to Eri over a cellular. Ran is still hyped up.
Page 8: Eri's light haired, drunk client visits. Her face is totally flushed - she's wasted. She plops down on Eri's neat bed like she owns the place. Her arms are crossed behind her head. She falls asleep right after Eri talks to her and snores. I surprised someone would want to stalk her in the first place given the way she is acting.
Page 9: Eri used the phone in the room to call the client's husband. Eri apparently helped the client get under the covers since the client is in a more normal sleeping position. Eri leaved the room unlocked. The stalker's mother is in the hallway to see Eri shut the door - but I can't tell if she knows the door was unlocked. She grumps at Eri.
Page 10: The stalker son is peeking around the corner unseen eavesdropping on the conversation. I guess every one of the three suspects might know Eri's door is unlocked. Kogoro and Eri are at dinner. Kogoro even busted out a bowtie to go with his snappy suit. Wonder if it is Conan's spare? (Conan is in his usual blue getup with bowtie) The dinner between Kogoro and Eri is building some tensions. Ran works to defuse, Conan is just watching the train wreck slowly unfold with the halfmoon eye expression.
Page 11: Dinner continues. Ran says something to Eri that causes Eri to unbutton the top button of her blouse and blush. Ran seems a bit surprised by Eri's move.
Page 12: Kogoro must be immune because he wrecks the mood by being an ass. Eri's shock gives way to a pulsing vein. She looks at her watch ~ 11:00, and leaves. Kogoro has finally defeated his liver and his face is lying on the table. Ran is unhappy.
Page 13: Eri uses the card to reenter the room - although it was unlocked? Eri looks at the disordered bed - the client had apparently left - and Eri tosses her card on the bed. Eri walks over and squats down by the minifridge and gets a soda. She opens it but it sprays all over her face. She looks a little forlorn at this point.
Page 14: Ran and Kogoro and Conan go to Eri's room. Kogoro's liver is still unconscious and his face is beet red. Ran rings the bell. eri hears the bell and comes to the door and opens it...
Page 15: Eri is wrapped in a towel after having taken a shower. Kogoro sobers up in a jiffy. He goes from surprised to yelling. Eri walks into the room and sees a foot by the side of her bed.
Page 16: It's the client and she is dead. It looks to be an unnatural position and her body is right up against the side of the bed. The client is on her stomach and her arms are straight and close to her sides, but the leg opposite the bed is bent up rather high and seems to be lying on the woman's arm. The cause of death looks to be a traumatic head injury from a blunt object. The blood is pooling around the head, so I doubt the body was moved in later after death. While it is hard to tell from the panel, there doesn't seem to be visible bloodstains on the bed. Eri runs over to the client's side, kneels on the floor, and begins yelling at the body.

Huh. They didn't celebrate Ran's birthday (Oct. 2) but they celebrated Eri's.

I thought Sonoko x Makoto was a completed couple xD

Are you sure Ran's birthday is on Oct 2? From what I can remember she's still an eternal 16-year-old and Gosho said he probably make a birthday episode at the very end~

Also, I don't know how the school system works in Japan, but if it's already October 10, shouldn't Ran be an old woman a third-year by now?
