Why didn't you post this in the other 707 spoiler thread? It would have been more convenient that way.
It's interesting Kobayashi doesn't recognize the voice: that makes me think it was the victim she heard, not the culprit. I'm also evilly happy Kobayashi is still pissed at Shiratori despite him trying to tell her the bookstore story. Kobayashi has a backbone! I was hoping for a misunderstanding and it seems I got what I wanted. I feel like a bad person though for hoping it wouldn't turn out so smoothly. Shiratori definitely seems set up to save the day if the shadow is the culprit. Will Kobayashi forgive him by the end of this case or will it get dragged out over a couple more cases?

I think there is a fat chance that Shiratori will save Kobayashi in th end and it'll be just like when he "saved" her at the bookstore. X3

This definitely sounds legit compared to the other one that sounds more like a dream fanfic. Curious to know who this "dark silhouette" is. The murderer?
(And if "Akai" does show up in a case that shows little to very very little chances of him showing up, then,...I really don't know how to react to that except to stare back at the other thread... O.o)

hmm one of the suspects is having a cold though, so her voice might have changed...
but I also like the possibility that the person Kobayashi-sensei heard was the victim rather than the culprit

What's up with Haibara bringing that subject so suddenly, is it because she notice Kobayashi-sensei acting weird after previous chapter ?
