This case seems to be an exercise in mistaken identities. I wonder if it was actually the victim instead of the culprit who yelled "Listen up, hand it over! I'll kill you!" Did the van really have "09" written on it given that the squiggle looks a lot like an "S" instead? I wonder if the twin-like appearance of Sato and Kobayashi will somehow tie into the eventual capture of the murderer?
Ginrei restored the vote switching option! Three cheers for Ginrei! Vote away!

"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."
Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!
I voted for the guy, because he is the most suspicious one.
My reasons are the followings:
Spoiler:
1. It seems that Kobayashi didn't knew that the victim was a woman that is why she is convinced that the culprit is a female.
2. Assuming that this "Listen up, hand it over! I'll kill you!" was said by the victim could mean that if the culprit took back (or rather stole) an "item" which he gave in to pawn to the victim lady.
3. The culprit knew that he was seen by someone, so til the police came he had to change his appearance. Lucky for him, he probably didn't speak during the crime, so he can talk as much as he likes.
The women suspects are out, because the blond one had her hair in a different ponytail style then it was at the cime scene. Normally if you are the victim and someone sees you in a ponytail, you wouldn't change its style, but you wouldn't have a ponytail at the interrogation. The second lady seems to have a long hair, but returning the the second point she didn' have anything (maybe besides money) to take back from the victim.
And the guy has short hair, assume he did a haircut by himself maybe. If i were him, I'd probably do that, so that no one would think that I'd possible have a ponytail.
4. The only one who claimed that he had no reason to kill her was the guy. The things he said can't be checked obviously, so ... yeah.
5. The guy said that he was a baseball player and injured his left hand. This means (I'm not sure about this thou, baseball isn't my sport) that he was left handed. The culprit seemed to be left handed too because he carried the stuff he stole in his right hand(and in that specific arm pose) . Naturally right handed people would keep stuffs while hurrying in their left hand in order to have their "good" hand free, so one can stab the victim, open the door etc. more easily. This could be done vica versa as well, I think.
But we will have probably two more files to find out who the real cuprit is. And it seems like that that this SS issue will be a double issue, which means no SS next week, so the conclusion chapter will have to wait.

Not true... At the end of the file it says "Continued in SS #42-43" Just because its a double issue does not mean no Conan <3
In my opinion, It IS a murder, but in term of self-defense purpose..
The victim (that frog-like women), actually trying to snatch the culprit purse and threatening with knife, and the so-called culprit somehow managed to turned the table and kill her..

No no you've misunderstood. Because there will be a double issue this week it means that next week there is no SS and therefor no Conan. But wish you were right. i hate week offs.

Didn't she say that the culprit had breasts? That guy is not big enough to have man-boobs...
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

Argh... *breaths in slowly* *laughs*
So there is a double issue this week, right? Right. Which is issue 42-43 according the site you mentioned, right? Right. The next issue after that is 44th. Right? But this will appear on the 30th of September according to that site, which means no Conan for next week, because no SS will be published next week.
@Miakakiri: Did she say that? I thought his right arm in front of his chest could have looked like boobs in the dark.
A double issue is what Shounen Sunday (and possibly Jump comics as well, though not sure) does to keep 52 issues a year. While they technically don't put out 52, it allows for easier sorting in databases and collections.
And as Misztina said, while there will be an issue this week (the 42-43 issue), there likely won't be an issue the week after (week of the 23rd). However, Shounen Sunday's site hasn't updated to this week yet so I cannot confirm for 100% certain.
And no, double issue does not mean double the number of pages.

Ohhh.... I misunderstood it as "not in the next issue" but really what you meant was "not in next week"....Thanks, my bad ^_^

It's on page 7, the 4th panel. DCTP translation reads: "She had a full figure..." "Her long hair was tied back, and I think she was wearing a hat." ("full figure" is another way to say "big boobs". Most people wouldn't phrase it that way in casual conversation, but that's usually how you see it in bra ads.)

I didn't have time to read word for word, but from the pictures I can see that that women is not very small, heck, she's like a man, and in order to actually yank something from her and struggled to the point of able to kill her, probably required a man's strength --- I could be wrong
