Thanks for the translation! What a disappointment... *SIGH*. I've been waiting for 2 weeks just for THIS??? I guess this Okiya-Akai business will drag out for at least another 50-100 files.

So there are three options for the new case next week.
1) a case that continues this okiya/scar akai/bourbon arc.
2) a suspiciun case according to what happened in the last files.
3) a simple case that doesn't affect the plot.
Of course with Gosho, it can be assumed that for the next 50 files there will be again just simple cases.

Subaru: "Ah, well... by chance I saw him on that department store's floor, but I realized to my great regret, that I mistook him for someone else, so I didn't talk to him."
Subaru, facing away from Conan, has a smile on his face.
Okiya must be telling lie, otherwise why he smile evilly when he see Akai with scar.
"I know that face from really long ago... so I'm sure that he's not the one."
Conan stares at Subaru's back, with a strained expression on his face.
Will Conan already started suspecting Okiya

About that last one (okay, I still believe Okiya is Akai, so people who don't support that theory, bear with me k?): maybe Okiya suspected Scar Akai to be Bourbon, but discovered in some way it's not him. About that strained expression of Conan's, I haven't seen the raw yet, so I first want to see what it looks like. It can mean Conan finally begins to suspect Okiya (which would make him look pretty dumb if you ask me, after taking him in and so on) or was already suspecting him and only showed his feelings by accident just now, or Conan feels pretty pressured because of several people of the BO suddenly showing up while he still doesn't know who Scar Akai actually is.
"If it's not Bourbon, then who is it?" could be a thought he's dying to know an answer for. The FBI doesn't know who it is (or at least Jodie and Camel don't), the BO doesn't seem to either (taken for granted Conan realizes they came for Scar Akai of course), but the third party (or should I say fourth) knows quite a lot since an agent of theirs is going around looking like Akai, meaning they should know the situation between Akai, the BO. and the FBI. Besides that, a 'third' party here can only get in the way of the plans they've been carefully making.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I am really looking forward to this chapter even more after reading the spoilers. A lot of things don't necessarily transmit their full weight in text format like Gin's mono/dialogue about a certain individual and various characters' expressions.
It would have been interesting to have Conan actually see scar Akai or have some unmasking, but I don't mind more waiting as long as the eventual exposure is that much more epic... It would have been a little anticlimactic given the current circumstances. Besides, this chapter arc eliminated lots of possible identity theories, so it wasn't pointless.
Subaru *cough*Akai*cough* appears to have been following Jodie around and otherwise keeping tabs on her, and now that he has seen Scar Akai, maybe this means Subaru will finally start doing some serious lurking... The only other FBI target scar Akai *cough*Bourbon*cough* could meet would be James Black, but I'm hoping that after recent events he gets interested in the Mouri Detective Agency. I wonder if Scar Akai is wondering who triggered his stare sensors back in the department store?
I'm curious about the whole "who texted Kogoro the answer" mystery. While we know Subaru was looking at case on his cell earlier and is the logical candidate for message sender, what is up with scar Akai giving out his phone to random strangers? Is Conan going to take the cell with him? (It's a trap!)
We got some more info about the boss which is always nice. Gin seems to have come to some kind of conclusion about scar Akai since Kir's skull is still intact (although Gin might not want to dirty the upholstery and attract attention at the current moment).

I begin wondering if I'm the only one here who thinks this arc is a bitter disappointment.
I mean, we got used to the fact that Gosho doesn't really intend to further the BO plot. There's no denying it we could forget all the previous BO cases and wouldn't fall back as to the plot. There have been many BO chapters: First Conan vs. BO, meanwhile FBI vs. BO and even CIA vs. BO. I admit all the files were exciting and nevertheless I enjoyed reading them, but they were without any consequences in view of the storyline. We don't know anything more important about the BO than we did at the very beginning of this series. To sum up, I can say that the BO chapters always had tension, but never a result which helped on the BO story.
Now that there was talk of a "rapid development", I became curious and was convinced Gosho would keep his word. But this arc was plain nothing! The bomb case was redundant (there would have been other and better possibilities to bring the important characters together) and nothing has developed rapidly. Things develope agonizingly slowly, just as if Gosho didn't know himself how this is gonna end.
Well, while writing the last paragraph, I assumed nothing to follow this arc. But I still devoutly hope that the next file will continue this BO plot - because just nothing has happened yet: The BO is waiting in front of the house as if they had all the time in the world and the part about Okiya and fake Akai is not fully developed. They bandy looks with each other, fake Akai suddenly runs away, Okiya is wandering around and talks with Kogoro and Jodie and Camel are frustrated because they didn't accomplish anything again. By the way, the BO drives away with Gin being half asleep (it doesn't really seem to bug him that "Akai" wasn't shot). It all appears as if one member wanted to get some coffee wherefore the BO doesn't do anything.
I have no idea what to think about these files. But I just can't understand how you can content yourselves with this... It's just nothing, even more nothing than usually...
