My new theory: Camel might be in love with Jodie

Hi there...
What do you think about it?
Recently, Camel seems to worry about the safety of Jodie more than usual.
I say that he might have fallen in love with her...
Even though he saw Akai passing by him in the toilet, he tried to convince Jodie that Akai was dead by using some stupid logic
I believe that he did so not because he likes logic, but to make Jodie stop thinking about Akai, and start thinking about him...

Jodie was all emotional and such, total unprofessional so he needed her to calm down of cource.
Would be funny, when he kills Akai (if he´s really alive) to make sure that Jodie-sensei will be his woman. XDDDDD

I just figured he did that so as to help Jodie move on and get over Akai. You know, like a friend would try to do to help a friend feel less pain than necessary.

anyway,i think he did so to help jodie to forget shuichi and recover her normal state
as you said ssjup81, it's more like a friend or a partner, not as a lover
but i would't be surprised if gosho put some love feelings,he likes adding romances even if it's not necessary

Jodie did open the door when she pretended to be his lover
, but I agree that this is more of a friend trying to comfort another friend thing.
As for the pairings, I actually liked the latest one with Shiratori as him constantly being used as the "sad clown" was actually getting kind of sad. So him getting his girl and learning that this was the "Satou" he was looking for was a good one but it would not surprise me if near the end of DC, everyone is paired up
.
The next pair is probably going to be Chiba & Yumi; she'll probably yell at him for eating so much and make him buy her things while he'll tell her to shut up so he can watch Kamen Yaiba.

It didn`t state exactly that Jodie and shuichi were a couple.
Shuichi only said,
being in love with 2 women at the same time ... its not that handy of a personality.
^ That`s it.
You cannot assume that they got in a relationship because he subty, somewhat confessed.

You're right!he never said he and jodie were in couple...it's only speculation(even if they're very close partners)!
besides,the sentence"being in love with 2 women at the same time..." was more a sort of metafor i think! to me he means that it's hard to have 2 lovers at the same time(the one is his real love akemi,and the other "love" is his job in the FBI,and his missions he had ,he sure love working in the FBI)it's like a dilemma,he can't choose between akemi and his job,his mission in the FBI!

Hmmm.... I thin khe has a wife... and also, I think he was "in on it too" if Akai is indeed alive, and I think Akai "May" indeed have been alive since Kir said to Gin "Unless I have a brain like Sherlock Holmes, Akai wouldn't be a live" and Conan is definitely there "Holms of modern time", then Camel is probably in on the deal ... Some how, thus that's why he insisted Akai is dead.
