could anyone tell me the episode in which conan's mother and father learn the true identity of conan ? .. I must've skipped it somehow!

Ep 43 is the first time we see Conan's parents, and they already know he's the shrunken version of Shinichi when they appear. It's a really good episode, too! (but I won't give anything away since seeing how the episode plays out is part of the fun )

It really would of been a pointless episode as Yusaku Kudo is a great detective and Shinichi is his son, he would of noticed within 5 minutes that Conan=Shinichi and Yukiko's mother instincts would of probably told her in 4 minutes. Episode 43 did what it was suppose to do, have them find out WHY he's a kid and show him a lesson that he isn't invincible and should of looked to them for help like parents usually do.

YE but as a detective-conan fan i would've wanted to see that happening!

How they found out would take maybe 5 minutes. Check Episode 43 just before the 19:06 where Conan says the following:

"And then you heard from Professor Agasa that I was drugged and turned into a kid, so you set this up?"
Simple. No Episode needed for that. After all, you know that one of the first thing they are going to do is ask the Professor what had happened in their absence.

we believe that conan is shinichi so that he's parents are yukiko and yusaku... no more else...

This thread shows some newer fans need to study older story arcs more.
