Maybe Ayumi remembered him, because she saw either someone similiar in file 699 or saw Jodie.

Though this is shouldn't be a big shock for Conan. I mean IF he planned everything with Akai, then they must have assumed that the BO will eventually try to confirm whether it was a trick-kill or not. And even if this information takes Conan by surprise I can't see how this would trigger a big BO event.

Yeah... unless it's Vermouth trying to rob some banks or something...

i agree with you, if it's not a fake spoiler!(some people do that ) i missed akai so much so it would be great to have more info about his"death"!!

I think this spoiler is 80% fake one, if this is real, I wonder if Ayumi see "Akai" shot the robber to save Conan for being killed.

The first time (and probably the only time?) Ayumi saw Akai was in the busjack case: Akai was wearing a mask so half his face was covered.

I got a feeling chapter 699 would be kogoro 1 chapter case..

Then we will start completely a new on chapter 700, which will kept on going until the series ended
