I watched the whole thing without subtitles and whatnot, seeing as there are none so far, and everything is so... crappy! DC didn't even try. I wanna smack the characters jaws back into place after the thousandth crappy side face. Compared to Lupin, they're poorly made. (Though, their front face is very nice, still.)

I was honestly expecting better, but I suppose I shouldn't. It seems anime just can not make up their own mysteries or ideas. Goshyo was fantastic with that kind of thing. It almost felt as if the Lupin half was pulling the whole story along, and DC was just there to make it long an complicated... =/

And why did it also have to have a murder mystery? Why not do it like they do with Kaito Kid. Have all the attention on the THIEF! Not tie in some crappy twist! TwT

The whole thing was crappy!!! >:(  Some people might've got all excited when they heard "Lupin VS. Conan" but honestly, name dropping isn't worth 2 cents!

I'm not fond of the art but I think it's because of the current studio that is working on DC atm.  I take it that they're not familiar with the DC style and is uncomfortable working with it (the side views, the way they move, etc...) 

The actual quality of the animation (backgrounds, colours, frames) isn't bad.  But I expected better from such an anticipated special.  It's also a bit inconsistant.

I like the music ^^ it was nice hearing my favorite character themes again.

Overall I'm not that disappointed, but then I had VERY low expectations for this special (and anything DC not written by Gosho lol).  There are some really funny scenes in it that I would hate to miss and the fact they manage to keep me watching to the end is a pass in my book.

Though the whole time I just keep going "needs more Lupin needs more Lupin needs more Lupin..." (I really should just go watch Lupin).

Who knows Ferris?  Maybe with such a success they'll have a Kaitou KID versus Lupin versus Conan!  Though so far aside from the Yaiba special (which is part found in Magic Kaitou lol) I don't like "versus" anime specials...they usually end in bitter disappointment ;(.  Just a straight forward Kaitou KID versus Lupin (without Conan) will be the best <33.  Lupin is much more experienced though, I wonder if Kaitou can win?
