Re: 689 (spoilers)
Dude.... at least use MY raws... They look so much nicer than that page.... Also... RESIZE. You have 1 day to comply before I delete <3. By comply I only mean the resizing, its not my fault if you don't use mine. (note: not the topic or your post, just the image)
I also put a spoiler tag on it... Since that is kinda the twist at the end, wouldn't want people getting spoiled for the last page now when they wouldn't want that

Re: 689 (spoilers)
I had suspicions of Kobayashi since the beginning as I translated the case, and I was pretty much completely certain when Inspector Megure mentioned that they called the kids' teacher to pick them up.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I actually didn't take a peek at the raw before reading the scanlation today.

The image and its filename sum up my feelings about the ending.

expect anything from Gosho's style. Recall the attitude and appearance changes of the culrpit from movies 2, 4, and 7 once they were exposed.

Re: 689 (spoilers)
whoops, how did I forget about that?
But the movies do follow Gosho's style in drawing culprit.
Ok, classical examples of culprit expression/appearance revesal upon exposure of their crimes include: the blond guy that pretended to like Sonoko and almost killed her, the groom in the fake wedding case, and (an exception, the victim) the rich man who was killed by fire caused by static electricity.
But there were opposite cases too, such as the chaufer in the case with the workers in the rich family all having different phobias; this was one of my favorite non-BO-related cases.

Re: 689 (spoilers)
NotSoFluent, you're going to have to explain who the random guy in the picture is. I don't get it.
1 (Shinichi Shrinking)
33-36 (Bullet Train Bomb case)
114-116 (Tequila at the Video Game conference)
236-242 (Pisco at Hyde Hotel)
380-381 (Footsteps of Darkness)
429-435 (Vs. Vermouth)
500-504 (Black Org vs. FBI)
595-609 Red vs. Black
The average chapter gap between the major clash arc cases I listed above is ~82 chapters. Added to 609, the average predicts a clash arc starting in chapter 691 (i.e the next case arc). I don't know if we're going to get one in the next three files, but we should get a clash arc soon!
Speaking of Syndicate cases we're coming up to being due for a clash arc.HiddenDetective wrote: this was one of my favorite non-BO-related cases.
