Can you anyone link me/spoiler the main plot developments in the last 40 chapters? Or direct me to where I can find some information? Thanks in advance.

I assume that by "the last 40 chapters" you mean from about chapter 880 (most recent chapter is 919) to until now:

. You can jump straigh to file 888 and go on from there because, before it, there's almost nothing related to the plot (save a talk between Conan and Haibara about the mystery girl in one file). From 888 to 898 it's all important plot development regarding Amuro and other characters.

. The next case, ranging from file 899 to file 902 has almost no plot development save for a small apparance of the MG (mystery girl) and Okiya at the start and end of the case.

. 903-906 is focused on Sera and the MG.

. 907-909 includes talk from Haibara regarding a new BO member revealed during the happenings of the arc between 888-898.

. 910-912 doesn't include much plot development save for a scene of Conan's suspicions about possible people who could be the new BO member,

. 913-917 introduces a new police figure in Nagano that plays an important role on the case and we've yet to see if he's got real relevance to the plot.

. The current case, begun on file 918, seems to have 0 connection to the plot, your usual dull DB(Detective Boy)s case.
