What if he's actually Toichi Kaito?? Ayoma tends to give us wrong hints all the time, what if when Sera was asked if she met the "Wizard" she was actually referring to Kaito Kid, whom she happened to meet a very short while before? I just find it weird that if we were to assume that Haneda Shukichi is really Sera's middle brother and he knows Conan since he told Sera if it's him "it's ok", then why doesn't he know that Conan is Shinchi? (if Conan is the wizard). Also Akai's father died a while a go, just like Toichi Kaito. Finally i was re-watching the Vermouth arc and I noticed that very soon after Mouri's case records were stolen, Aradai sensei was seen saying he had to testify in court, maybe this is Ayoma's way of giving us very difficult hints, at the time very few people would have noticed. Similarly in Kaito Kid's magic teleportation Sabura Okiya is seen watching Kaito Kid with interest, was this is really a random scene? Perhaps they have the same father or something.

Toichi's name is Kuroba Toichi. Kaito is the given name of his son, Kuroba Kaito. Didn't Gosho say something about Kaitou Kid not being related to the plot from this point on?

The files taken from Kogoro's office were taken by Vermouth so that she would have knowledge of Araide Tomoaki's court case, but Vermouth didn't know that the records did not hold the truth about that case about what happened to his father and the person who killed him. This is how Conan figured out that Vermouth was disguising as him.
