A simple question, do You think he's a suicider? He a lot of times jumps like a monkey, or do things that even a pro stuntman would not risk.

Maybe he wants to die?

Judging from his many rants at criminals about letting go of grudges and living life to the fullest and his attempts to stop suicides when he comes across them.... no. Don't think so. He does have a taste for adrenaline though.

This is still Shounen Manga. What did you expect?
He already 'died', he just got lucky that he just shrank instead of getting poisoned.

certainly, at least in the movies.

1- willing to die with Ran together with the bomb ticking
3- recklessly chasing scorpion back into the castle
4- jumping onto the train tracks to save his girl
5- flying across the twin towers with a skateboard- WTF? just wait for a helicopter
9- jumping out to reach Kogoro's hand for no reason at all since he still had a lot of time before the ship completely sank

He certainly looks like a suicider, but honestly, it's a manga (and a shonen moreover), so looking like a suicider is just proof of his heroism. If Conan hadn't followed Scorpion recklessely in movie 3, he wouldn't have looked THAT heroic, so...
