A question about Detective Conan file 434..

I have a question about Detective Conan manga file 434 page 12 (the Calvados-death-scene), we see that he is putting his flat right hand on the gun, there are gases from the barrel of the gun, the body is lying on chest and most important, lying on the left side of the head while the face is looking towards the right and the majority of blood flowing is from the left side of the head (as expected because it is the exit wound site)..
Now the question is: is this position possible in the case of suicide?
P.S: I don't know much about criminal investigation, so if anyone has good knowledge, they will be able to tell whether we can decide if it is a homicide or suicide.. or we can't know from the position only..
Thanks.

While typically his hand would not fall palm-downward and over-the-gun in that situation, it's not really entirely implausible. I imagine Gosho just fit all of that into one panel the best he could, by clearly showing his head, the wound, his hand, and the smoking gun while also being able to fit Akai and Jodie into the background in what is a relatively small space.
Overall, it seems OK to me.

Thank you for reply..
I don't think that Gosho did that just to fit all things in one small photo.. this doesn't mean that I believe he has drawn that position in purpose.. but since there is a possibility, we should think about it..

Alot of times that gets brought up actually, but there's nothing more we can go on really.
I guess all the small panelling can backfire... I've always wondered why Gosho doesn't fill up the pages with one panel double spreads or something more often, wouldn't that help him not take breaks?
Oh but then again his plan of getting needed cases out of the way and in order until next 00 chapter might get hard and we might get 7 chapter normal cases...
