At the end its says next issue of shoenen sunday has a shocking announcement regarding conan 20th anniversary manga and such what do u guys think it is

mostly an announcement for end date or finale of this long story manga and i for one hope it is since shocking comes under this category

Zenthisoror: Just a bit of news from the colour page of 883: There's a plan for a special 20th anniversary original anime which has been tentatively titled The Case of the Vanishing of Edogawa Conan (subject to change) subtitled (subject to change) - The Worst One Day in History. It's an anime original, with basically all the staff sworn to secrecy. Also, in the movie news - a little info in terms of plot: Sera seems to get shot protecting Conan?

The Sunday uses hyperbolic language like "shocking announcement" to encourage people to purchase the next edition for curiosity. If there was some real huge news, it would have its own page, or even two whole pages. I remember a Black Org case + movie was announced that way in the past.

When it comes to hyperbole, Shounen Sunday and Gosho are masters of the art. Not just in terms of these announcements but any announcement. Every movie and every type of news in the Conanverse is announced in the same manner.

I find this news to be quite interesting still and do look forward to how it turns out, especially if it's a two-hour special.

Yep, the chapter with the announcement (883 A Detective in Scarlet) came and went and the announcement was about the AO special.

I'm betting on July, personnaly. I think it won't aire first where we think it will... ^^
