Well, this is nice. Though we cant really expect progress due to a flashback, but getting to see Ran's real thoughts is a great character insight.
the chapter is really nice, it's been some time we had a Shinichi-Ran related chapter/case. And of course, seeing Ran's real thoughts is great as well.

I can't wait to see what Shinichi was going to say there, but I think guy was found dead and interrupted him. I wonder if the case will continue with the present or with the flashbacks of the past case.
