A love story between Takagi and Satou continued...
Is Satou pregnant?
Spoiler:
I wonder if the producers intend to make her pregnant before she is officially married - what is the normal social attitude toward premarital pregnancy in Japan?
Also, if I remember correctly, Gosho Aoyama indicated that he has plans to make Kaito Kid disrupt Takagi & Sato's wedding.

Spoiler:
It looks bad here if you're pregnant without being married. It's expected of you to be married before pregnancy. As for premarital sex, like everywhere (minus the extreme places), people pretty much do it anyway. That aside, I'm under the impression that abortion doesn't have as much of a negative moral stigma here as other places.
On the first read it seems that Satou is missing her period, I didn't know their relation advanced so much. But then again, in the last case Takagi did mention that it wasn't the bed that was soft . But it'd be a big troll if either Miwako wasn't referring to her period or it was just late. Anyway, at least6 it was showed their relation did advance alot after the case when Takagi was kidnapped.
as for the case, it looks that the guy isn't the cousin of that kid, the pictures were most likely taken from the real cousin. Also if you have money like that and a brand new C-Class you don't live in a flat like that.
I'm pretty sure that Takagi is misunderstanding and she isn't pregnant because what she is missing isn't her period but something else. We'll see how it goes.
As for the case, it seems like the victim stalked and was the cause of the dead of the sister (Either because he killed her or more probably because she died in an accident trying to escape the stalker)and he moved there and killed him taking the photos with him.
I always find it weird how Conan suspects badly of people even before the crime occurs.
^he didnt, he was just being observative and dead bodies have their own stench depending on how old they are, Conan has better senses than normal people because he's the "detective" of the case too so far... Haibara not smelling anything should mean it's not that old (I once slept in room where they used to store dead animals before that and im never going to get the smell out of my head and throat, and that was years ago...)
Anyone know if "Flower Word" is the right translation? It could mean something else than the latin name for the flower
The case is odd, why does he live in house like that? The meaning for the flowers? There's most likely a trick behind the photos, the photos were probably stolen and switched or something... This Toshinari guy definitely doesn't feel like a culprit atm

I suspect this is referring to Hanakotoba (language of flowers) which is literally "flower word(s)", although I didn't find what the meaning of "false dragonhead" is.

The Hanakotoba for false dragonhead is something like obtained a goal, success. I'm going from memory because DCW, where my case analysis post is, is down right now.

Thats interesting... If its about the murder it would mean it happened already and maybe the body was indeed old

I'm pretty sure it is old because it smells from a distance. I'm guessing four hours to half a day old minimum.

Takagi is definitely misunderstanding. What Sato is missing is not her period, but her police badge/pin. When she says "It hasn't been there…you know what…" you can see Takagi is wearing a police badge/pin on the left side of his jacket and Sato isn't. And of course it would be embarrassing for a police detective to lose their badge and how, as Sato states, 'a matter of responsibility'. Plus, on the cover art of File 871, Sato is happily wearing her badge/pin showing she found it with Conan and Takagi looking at her with a 'that was it?' face. Anyway since Takagi thought Sato was pregnant, it means that they did something else than sleep peacefully on that bed…hehe

it's quite simple if you think about it. Miwako said it's something that you notice by looking at her. And I think it's quite hard to see if she's missing her period or not .

True, but at one point she said that Takagi was responsible too, so it's no surprise he misunderstood.
