How would Gin die?

I have my own thoughts on this. After chasing Conan and trapping him in an alleyway, after throwing Conan into depressing and ultimate piss-offery, how would it end? Would Sato come to save the day? Treason in the B.O.? Maybe even Ran drop kicking the pretty blond man?

If ANY cop kills Gin, it would have to be Takagi...but even that I can't see.

I'd love to see Shiho do it. Either with a gun, or with the APTX.

If anyone in the BO kills Gin it would have to be Vermouth, the boss, or Gin himself (Conan tranquilizes him, he aims at his own arm is distracted and mistakenly blows his own head off, for example lol).
I don't see anyone from the police killing Gin.
And Haibara is a possibility.
Personally, I would like to see Ran vs Gin in martial arts.

...No.
It would be more likely that an FBI agent would save Conan from Gin than a local officer. Besides I don't think Sato has it in her to take a killing shot while Gin would probably drop her at her first moment of hesitation.

The way it should end is Gin going out in a blaze of glory. After he is severely wounded and Conan/FBI/CIA believe they have him, he does his creepy laugh and says some Gin like lines before pressing a button that turns the current area into chaos. So in the end he dies but not before getting the last laugh.

And oh yeah, maybe Vodka should be there doing something..

I want Akai to run in and soot him in the gut when he is about to kill Conan. And then all the people who still think Akai is alive can go "SQUEEE" than it can turn out to be Vermouth, and she throws Conan or something, and then she sets herself and Gin on fire. And Conan is standing in front of the burning building, and real Akai comes!
As long as Gin dies in a terrible, painful and gory way, I don't care. As long as he suffers.

i think Gin wud survive, admittin defeat to Conan and then disappear forever.

Or Conan wud think Gin is dead but hes still alive and then disappear forever

I agree that Gin can't die. If there was a scene that looks like he's about to die (aka shot by bullets all over his body), he would get up like a zombie and keep on going

well like I said in the character death thread, I think Gin's 'too badass to die' barrier could possibly be overcome by Akai performing a double suicide with him.  Their rivalry has been built up enough, while the BO is larger than just Gin anyway, so I don't really believe his final showdown (if it happens during the final showdown) will be with Conan.

In the trailer, when gin had Conan held down, they showed a quick image of a gun shooting. Not Gin's but someone else's (Gin's gun was too close to himself and Conan that you would have to see even at least his jacket.)

I would say his hand was shot so he couldn't hit the trigger, but the shot would be impossible to aim and time. Gin's shoulder would be in the way, you'd have to get very close safely to do such a thing. A shot to a limb to cripple would only make him react to the pain by pressing the trigger. It would have to be a death shot. Seeing as a heart shot from the back would be risky, a head shot would be the only option.

So, a head shot of some kind to kill him instantly, but I doubt that would be what happens as well. I believe they'd go for a chest shot, aiming for the heart. Why? Because then he would have a few seconds to look and see the culprit before dying. By who? My ideas would have to be Akai Shuuichi, Haibara Ai and Kir. Did no one think of Kir? I think it's very possible seeing as she has yet to have a very useful part of the story except to give information on Bourbon, which, so far, isn't too useful. Akai would be able to end the rivalry between him and Gin. With Haibara, it would be a victory to end all. She would finally have her freedom and the strength to go on. She had leaped the hurdle that had been holding her back this whole time.

I doubt Gin would go down that easily, though. If anything, he'd give an order that would end up with hospitals crumbling, buildings bursting, police cars exploding, etc. (Though, they hadn't had enough time to set such a thing up, and it seems a bit pointless.) I think the most probably people would be Akai (If he shot at a very far distance) and Kir (Since she can freely get close to Gin.)

What I want to see happen, though it's to risky, is for Gin to be wounded, escape, and wreak havoc, or disappear. (I prefer the latter.)

Wreaking havok and a "blaze of glory" ... I can't see that either. The BO has so far only acted in the shadows (though in 425 and the Clash arc they're sort of out in the open, which I didn't like), and the only one who I think would make this struggle catastrophic would be the Boss.

I said this before in DCTV but forgot about it ... what if Vodka had something to do with it? He's kind of a lackey / tool for Gin, and hasn't done anything important so far ... either him or Shiho killing Gin would be fantastic. Also, unlike pretty much all of you, I can't see Gin living and disappearing at the end. I think he has to die.

But is that one a hardtop or a cabriolet? The most a type were cabriolets but I think Gin's is one of the few made in 1955 with a hard top...

I really belive Gin will die in the end... I mean he s not a character u could put in prison, isnt he?
Also I don't belive Akai could kill him. Okay he really hates Gin but I think in this point he's like kuodo who thinks that the death is not a fine for a murderer. But Ai won't kill him rather she will die . So... whats about Eisuke  ?
In the case that Gin will have only the choice between death and jail... he will take the cold hand of the death  ( ).
If he is able to survive and disapears, I think Gosho is planing a sequel   :D.
But how could he survive in a fight against Conan and Akai??? Sure not without the help of someone... (Vermouth? Ai???)

Crazy and very unlikely. Gin is pulled over for speeding. The police find a gun in the car and take Gin in for questioning. He is put in Prison but misbehaves and end up in solitary. He dies there of boredom ( not able to kill enough people to  keep him body and mind working )
