I can't really decide whether it's a red herring or not...Judging from Ai's impression, it's nothing OMFG-shocking, so I actually don't believe it's anything like "I'm Anokata hrhr!" Maybe it's rather some little detail, possibly about the B.O., that might help in the future.
However, taking the context into consideration, all the stuff being really personal, I think it's actually not far-fetched to believe it might be some information about Akemi...
