He plays the game. Each player has character or characters that they control. Text that you type can be inserted into that character as a word balloon or a postcard in a mailbox, I believe. Either he himself or an assistant types them.

Wait wait, no. You don't have to be his friend. You just have to go to his dream town, but you need the address for it (if you're using a non-Japanese game because you can't type katakana to search for the town name ). So basically you can go see his town, without actually going there.

1. “Shin’ichi BOY is complete/finished.”
2. I think this one is an opinion on 1. based on an outsider’s view: “You can’t understand if it’s about Kudō-kun, huh?”
3. No idea what this is supposed to mean, but “Sonoko” could mean the character instead of “this kid”?

"Kudo-kun hasn't changed much."
The "understand" thing is a misinterpretation. The actual word is "change".
3.
その(that) こ(kid) おっとこまえ(handsome man)
"That kid is(was) a handsome man."
You are right about the pun of Sonoko and "that kid", but since it's "man", it couldn't be Sonoko. This should be talking about little Shinichi in the coming Shinichi and Ran flashback case.
