At this point there seems like a chance that she’s a rival of Ran’s karate who is beginning to get (openly) suspicious of Conan’s identity, though not very as she doesn’t practise jeet kune do and (possibly) very recently arrived in Japan. Conan doesn’t have such a bad reaction to her (if glaring at Eisuke, etc. is a bad reaction), possibilities (not yet evidence based – random thoughts) are:
-Most popular: [he knows/has checked] She’s come to investigate on her bro
-Conan knows she’s Ran’s karate rival (not much evidence yet to support this)
-A detective who’s come to investigate - (why hasn’t anyone other than Shinichi’s close friends, relatives, etc. wondered what happened to him? Where’s the media?)
-He’s good at hiding his emotions, and tries to not make himself any more suspicious to Sera, after she wonders out loud his connection with Shinichi nii-chan. She’s looking for a reaction though he’s not going to fall for that one because Eisuke did the same though more indirectly.
-Gosho wants the case to end on a ‘happy’ note. (simply not acceptable! jks. XD)
Hmm... There’s probably more reasons but they’ve simply floated out of my head…
