Detective Conan Files 796-800 Discussion Thread: Dun dun dun

This is a bit problematic now. Perhaps it's time to enforce "manga spoilers" out of the main discussion threads and instead have an "ULTIMATE SPOILERZ" thread where people can talk about whatever the hell they want without using spoiler tags. Then those who don't want to be spoiled about the upcoming manga files can be safe.

I would be in favor of this idea. I don't think the current forum policy meshes well with the policy we have on the website. Our spoilers site is probably directly responsible for finding, disseminating and translating the vast majority of Conan spoilers on the web, so it's a bit odd that we lack a feedback thread where the latest developments can be discussed and speculated freely.

It's inevitable that, anytime a new picture is leaked or text spoiler is found, people are going to want to discuss it. And despite the best efforts of threads like these to enforce spoiler boxes, everyone is clearly hyped and excited about some mysterious, non-discussable revelations. If I were one of the few here hoping for a non-spoiler filled discussion, I would be better off completely avoiding this thread anytime between Thursday and the following Wednesday.

Also, while I agree with Knightus and Kor about maybe a spoilers section/thread/whatever would be a good idea, I think we'd still have similar problems anyway, people discussing spoilery things in the wrong spot. They're clearly too hyped to worry about spoiler boxes at least, what makes people think they'll go to the proper thread and not just post it in the file discussion thread?

Right, I get you. XD I tend to try to mostly avoid these threads as soon as I see someone mention spoilers for the next files, just because of that. (And now I've just been skimming things to make sure I didn't miss any discussion of current files and trying not to read any unmarked spoilers

Then why not convert the thread to open spoiler status? Label it as a spoiler zone when spoilers are out and in between files. Then start a temporary no spoiler thread after every file and merge them right back into the main thread when the next file comes out.
Or you can do it the other way around. Have a spoiler only thread, and the main one be spoiler free discussion and then merge the two when the file is translated.

My guess is in the earlier files when she was on the phone and we never saw her shirt, she was wearing a "Edogawa Conan's #1 Fan" shirt or something. Gosho just hid it.

I saw that there was page 10 after the one where Amuro notices the Suzuki Swift Serina ws driving and turns to follow them. After doing that, Amuro was right behind the car Okiya was driving and Haibara clearly got the well-known BO chills down her spine. I would say that now things are almost clear on who Bourbon is

after careful scrutiny , it is clear that both sera and amuro recieved calls(image 1 page 2 panel 4&5)
on other hand , okiya notices something in image 1 page 2 panel 3. and drives along.
he could have noticed sera and amuro orvermouth(in side mirror of car)
chances of okiya noticing vermouth are too slim
in image 2 panel 3 , we have okiya with earphone and mic.it is clear that he doesn't have them in image 3 page 2 panel 2

so after noticing someting in image 1 okiya drives along and take out his earphone and mic

I disagree on him taking it out AFTER noticing it. On image 1 page 2 panel 2, you can see Okiya touching his ear. I assume he's putting the earphone in his ear right then. Just a little detail I wanted cleared up. Well, the raws show it more clearly.

If Amuro or Sera is Bourbon then why Haibara couldn't feel the BO sense? (Anw, I still think there's a huge possibility Okiya is Akai)

Because she's too far from him? I doubt it works like a radar with a certain mile radius, pinpointing the exact locations of BO members in the vicinity. She's located a good distance from Amuro, hidden safely in a car.

the Sera Conan hug is even cuter than that. Also her eyes are teary. A bit much for a kid you got to know for a little while. It makes you wonder why since it should be Ran doing that.

2. I thought Okiya was driving his own car, not Agasa's beetle who was not working at the moment. Does Okiya actually have a Beetle as well?

That's something I've been wondering too, ever since the spoiler pic of Okiya getting his gun and opening his door backwards. AFAIK (and I don't know all that much about cars), only Beetles have doors which open that way. So I guess Okiya likes Beetles too, they didn't take Agasa's car after all.

Wouldn't it be easiest to simply start a big spoiler thread, in which the spoilers from all chapters can be discussed, and keep a separate spoiler-free thread open?When a chapter gets scanlated, everyone can discuss the file in the no-spoiler thread then. No need for some extra merging of threads and creating a new one each time either. It works in other fora, so why not here?
