Well, the theory that Shinichi will reveal his identity to Ran doesn't seem likely anymore. (If it ever did)
Since Agasa and him trick her with the "Conan sleeping" routine, I doubt that Shinichi after tricking Ran, that he'll soon be put in a situation where he'll have to reveal himself. Just too little time elapses.

He had a backpack, so I assume they were in there. I guess he left the backpack in the booth because he doesn't have it while chasing after Ran. I guess he didn't want her to recognize it.

You know, aside from the main case, there is something I want dealt with for this arc as far as Shinichi x Ran is concerned. I want Shinichi to tell Ran why he's keeping his distance from her. I want him to straight up tell her that he is in serious trouble and that hanging around her would endanger her life...that he investigated something that got him into trouble. I thinks that's actually a likely scenario. Gosho said this arc would be fairly decisive; and if it ends with just a kiss, he will have some explaining to do. Telling her that he's Conan would make it difficult for them to continue to live under the same roof, but he might hint towards the BO.
I'd want to hurt Gosho for that if he did end it that way (with the two kissing) or something, which would cause more emotional stress on Ran for not knowing what's going on and I would feel that Gosho is portraying Ran as a weak character if he does something like that. "Oh, a kiss from Shinichi, I won't ask anymore questions."
With the way Shinichi has been, Ran should take a stand and demand that he tell her what's going on, and then give him an ultimatum. I do feel that there should be no kiss, but confirmation as to why he rarely calls her (aside from his not needing to, being Conan and all) and why he's staying away from her. Shinichi should know by now that Ran likes him. He likes her, might as well finally get it out, even though I feel he would have if he wouldn't have changed back the previous times, like that time with the play and the one with that thing in the woods when he had that cold and dressed up funny and how Shinichi was being framed for that murder.

yep, cause here everything that is not released as an anime version is still to be considered a spoiler, so it's in this place. what is not released as the manga is a kind of super-spoiler so it gets spoiler tags.
The woman in disguise is Shiho Miyano...she's in London in case Conan ruins the return plan by taking the antidote...she predicted his foolishness...and she would take this chance in London to meet some friends (Hakuba maybe?)and family...which creates potential for BO plot development. Maybe we will get a thrilling fugitive plot turn ie. Haibara and Conan on the run from a BO assasin, who spotted little Haibara visiting the abandoned Miyano Manor. Ha, you wish! I think Aoyama will give us another 'in your face' bummer and he will wrap the case with a boring ending and we will go back to Japan without any character or plot development . *sigh*

Maybe that's why Aoyama doesn't put any effort in the plot...But i just want to keep the passion in my life. And fanfic isn't as captivating as manga. And the art of DC is actually good...Darn it...I'll follow the story, forever.

I thought you were pokint fun at people who think Shiho will appear. As I've said numerous times before, I'd find it weird if we don't get an Ai subplot.
Conan: "Whew, I'm finally back from London. We had a series of murders and an encounter with the BO. What were you up to, Haibara?"
Ai: "Well, I was having sleep-overs with Yoshida and we were playing a lot of board games. And then we painted each other's finger nails. And then we played dress-up with our dolls. It was so much fun^_^"

And that dialog...I bet Haibara is saying it sarcastically before she taunts Conan about his dopiness.
