Could the kid on the first page be Shinichi?
If yes, there are two questions:
1) Where did he put his hat?
2) What is that dark spot near his eye?

I don't think so. Shinichi was wearing different clothing then the boy, plus the nose is wrong.

The clothing looks similar enough for me. The Nose could be from the angle.
But who else could be the boy? After all, he was let near the crime scene by his guardians.

Shin-chan is wearing a dark sweater. The boy is wearing a light jacket. Shin-chan is wearing a collared dress shirt. The boy's "collar" is really round and is designed to drape over the shoulders. Shin-chan is dressed in dress casual clothes. The boy is wearing a Kindergarden-style school uniform.

He could've been a witness, the son of the deceased, a random boy walking home from school who saw the commotion and was curious...

Also, that dark spot near his eye would be a mole or some other kind of "beauty mark".

It would be more likely to be a young Akai than Sera, imo Sera's response to Takagi calling her a boy in the Haunted Hotel case is enough to show that she is actually a girl

waiting for the chapter, made me wonder again what would it be like to have Ran find out Conan's secret(because of Sera) and to have him live with Subaru.

Conan: *shocked, but recovers quickly* "Yes, apparently she did, Akai-san".
Okiya:  *very surprised* "Looks like I was also found out."
Conan: *after a bit of thinking* "I have a hunch about who tipped Ran off, but is Sera related to you?"

@cute Ran: It is likely that there will be the Chinese spoilers tomorrow, yes, but I'll tell you now that we try to avoid any questions about spoilers or new releases around here.

Basically, since the Chinese are fan translators as well, it's a bit rude to ask when releases will be, considering that they're doing it on their own time as is. It's kind of like rushing someone on something that technically doesn't have a deadline.

Okiya confirming that Conan=Shinichi isn't much of an issue if Okiya=Akai since he already knows about there being a method to shrink because Shiho=Ai, and it wouldn't be much of a far cry to think Conan was in the same situation anyhow. ^^;

Wonder if 814 will end with Okiya confronting Conan over this? Maybe it's just my wishful thinking, though... XD
