Takagi's a rather soft and emotional guy (even weak sometimes) so it doesn't surprise me one bit that he would cry.

Why so many mourns and pisses about this not being BO case. I for one am happy that this is TakagixSato case as We never had one since their kiss in previous files. ( I mean would you rather have this or normal Kogoro case?) At this this got potentional of getting us to somewhere.  For those who thought this was BO.  If it was so then Gisho would have made apperance of BO member last file but since it isn't so what were you expecting?

3) so, so true! I really like him and we have more background about Genta  :-\
4) I am not sure but I think so too. I think it was nicely thrown in how he tries to concentrate on the note and still couln't hold his tears. A very nice delivery of his emotinos

6) the girls have to stick together^^
7) she said that? was he in there before or is it more "that guy from the murder department is so nice"? But I can imagine him being popular with other people. He also doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who thinks that he is "better" because he is in a "higher" division.
8) perhaps it is going to be important to the case? seems to be one with touchscreen and everything.

3. Well, in all fairness, Genta has been there since File 17. And probably Gosho had some
4. The notebook had something about "meeting the parents" on the 7th of February. I'm not sure whose though, but most likely Satou's. There's also a purikura on the page. Again, not sure whose because the moment we had an close-up... Takagi's tears blocked it. I'm not sure if it's important or not though.
5. According to the translation I read over DCW, Ayumi had said that Amuro was handsome. xD
7. I'm not sure, but I think it was the second option ("that guy from the murder department is so nice"). His mentor (whose name, I believe, is Date) was part of the traffic department. I guess, Takagi would often hang out with him at the said department, and the people became fond of him. Apparently, Satou had gotten jealous upon hearing this from Miike.
8. Good point. I wonder whether he has two of them... you know, one for Shinichi and one for Conan.

More thoughts about the file...
- Takagi probably knows his kidnapper.
- What was Amuro's other reason for going to the police headquarters? I guess the chance to finally meet Haibara. But we're still not sure whether he knows about her or not (though he did overhear the kids talking about her and Agasa). If not Haibara, then what? Look through the police reports? Appear as Scar Akai again? Hmm...

Yes, but come on... it's natural for 7-year olds to cry in those situations. Adults can be expected to be a bit more mature.
