The kidnappers are obviously not BO, so is the black shadows on the car, since every time Gosho makes us think someone's a BO member, they're not (which makes it really boring  >:D ). Plus, even if they were BO members, why would they let Agasa live ? It's not the BO's style (unless Agasa is the boss  ;D ).

Plus, nothing has been confirmed if the black shadows we see on the car are really the kidnappers. Maybe their target is Okiya instead, who knows ? Or maybe they're FBI

It's likely they plan not to ask for ransom, I think they want Ayumi to do something for them and keep her as their prisoner. Could it be carpet worth more than the vase?

They can pretend to be appraisers, saying the vase is not expensive and pay for them with low price (or at least try this method first), no need to went through trouble of kidnapping Ayumi. I don't think they aim for the vase.

It could simply be that this were the kidnappers that the police was warning schools about in a past file (someone commented on this earlier), certainly it doesn't seem likely they are BO. They could have seen Agasa's video and though that an inventor like him had money. They didn't actually know if the vase was valuable or they didn't have the connections to sell art but they thought if they captured the girl, Agasa would pay them a ransom either from his "fortune" or form selling the vase...

Still my above theory seems trashy after Agasa having being already kidnapped not so long ago...

I don't knwo if there will be real plot development is this case but sooner or later the whole Sera vs Okiya should give us plenty of fun.

Maybe these 2 persons in a car are not kidnappers since usually a normal kidnapper won't be appeared as black man, always at least wear a mask to hide their face. I think these 2 persons are someone from FBI, CIA or other great organization except for BO who are targeting Okiya.

On page 4, why do Genta say "that neechan from Conan's place", so Genta forgot Ran already? And Mitsuhiko said "that high-school detective he knew", so Mitsuhiko forgot Kudo Shinichi already?

Why do Conan so paranoid when he heard Sera's name? Conan didn't suspect Sera as BO member right.

I wonder if we can see the scene for Haibara slapping Genta after this chapter out in anime.
