It drags out the story on something boring and neglects more important and exciting stuff. Also making Conan look less intrested with no Kir contact, and not even trying to talk to the mystery girl in the last case.
Action seems to be turnt off. Like one of the best moments of risk was when him and Ai found Gin's car and went proactivly investigating. That is how it should be (with Kir and Bourbon i might add) leading to danger of Conan hiding from them in the locker. Classic.
Maybe Conan should hang out with Heiji more to be more straight forward and risky to get more done. Rather than Akai who is so slow and secretive.
But i know Gosho wont mess it up.
My main gripe is that Sera was requested by the editor, due to a character thr fans liked. But she is not even as good as that character. And i feel she messes with Gosho's orginal plot as she is an add on. Bring back the Ai focus i say.
I agree with everything you said,except for the part about Heiji and Akai comparison.
I think Heiji shouldn't be included in the fight against the BO for now,he's just like Shinichi and doesn't add anything,while Akai has a BO experience and has knowledge that Conan doesn't have(sniping,driving,fighting,hacking...),so he's complementary with Conan.I just don't like when he follows Conan's plan instead of being the one who elaborate them.
Anyway concerning the whole Sera family arc,I agree with you.Actually I'm only interested on her because she's Akai sister.I hope that the mystery girl is a victim of APTX,so that Haibara could finally get some spotlight,and be more active than she is now(I'm tired with her being the DB's babysitter)
And of course we need some Ai/Okiya moments,or else what's the point of Akai staying in Shinichi's house?
there are so many mysteries that we need to solve(Amuro/Elena relationship,Itakura's program,the whole Miyano family story,Gin/Sherry relationship,Vermouth story...),but Gosho keeps adding new characters and mysteries.I really hope it will be useful to the BO plot.
As for Kir,Gosho completly ruined this character,now her role is limited to sending messages to the FBI
I miss the old good BO cases,when Conan and Ai were alone to fight Gin,when there was much more suspense and danger.Now it seems like Conan have super powers and is untouchable.
