LOL  this chapter was amazing, and i really liked it when ran chased shinichi

but why did conan take the pill? ran wouldn't think that conan is shinichi just because he was in that phone,

even if she wouldn't, he stated that he thought she'd know. So at the very least, it made sense to conan.

Seriously, his brain stopped working the moment he first heard 'London'.

That's only brainstorming now, but they're always some useful ideas. It's possible that murderer was playing with words and meanings in some lines. Remember - it's not just MY list, I've just collected most of ideas from earlier posts.

You're talking about someone who broke out from a room, called taxi (did she pay him?), and ran desperately into enemy territory to save him. Doesn't seem that far-fetched that she'd come London although I agree I doubt that mystery women is her.

It's a list of souvenirs for Shinichi...  She did a lot of research to find appropriate souvenirs, where to buy them, etc.

She also knew for a fact that his life was in danger.  This time, it isn't.  He's just being an idiot and is going to get stuck in London for a while, so don't see why she'd risk their lives and safety for that.

No, they're still secondary characters even if they have plot importance.  Otherwise you could say every character in FMA is a main character, since they all have plot importance in some manner.  Main character means main character, not important character.  Secondary characters can be just as important, if not more important, than the main characters.

So this is just a question of terminology to you?
Even if you say that Ai isn't a main character, she is still important to the plot. More important than Ran or Kogoro.

What is your explanation for this journey, then? Just to get our hopes up? There are two things DC and London/England have in common: Sherlock Holmes and Elena Miyano. If this turns out to be some sill Holmes tribute, I'll be on the next plane to Tokyo and accidentally drop a bookshelf on Gosho.

People don't exactly think logically all the time ya know. What maybe stupid to you may just a simple gesture to others

And that time, she not only came for him but for everyone else around her (Agassa, DB and maybe Ran ?) as they were all in danger, hence her suicidal proposition to Vermouth. This time, Conan's the only one in relative trouble.

He's completely right though. Ai will probably annoyed as hell (unless she anticipated it anyway) and give him a good thrashing but she's far from being as stupid as Conan just because Holmes is involved.

He had a backpack, so I assume they were in there. I guess he left the backpack in the booth because he doesn't have it while chasing after Ran. I guess he didn't want her to recognize it.

Haha I had the same question until I looked at what he was doing in the phone booth for the third time.

Chek is, as usual, right.

And Agasa should be able to retrieve the backpack.

This storyline/arc is getting good!  Hopefully he will stay as Shinichi throughout this case... its gonna be sad to see Shinichi part with Ran once more.
