You can't just end it like that, Gosho! Cruel and unusual...

conan may have meant that robber has her gun with her and would kill urakawa to protect her secret.
but then what would happen to kogoro and co. they are going straight to the third robber

Hm, well, if the robber isn't the last lady, then Ran, Kogorou and Amuro may not meet up with Conan right away. I mean, he probably will want to talk Urakawa out of suicide/killing the last woman before making any moves to arrest the robber. It's kind of weird though since it's a bit hard to tell how far Okiya, Haibara and Agasa are from Conan's location. I'd like to say they'll get to him first since he'll likely stay still talking to Urakawa for a while, but it's a bit too early to say that Team Haibara won't meet up with Team Amuro at the same time as "Team" Conan.
All I know for sure: once Team Amuro gets to the woman's house and stops the car, Amuro and Sera are going to meet. I'm not sure how that will roll out
...In short: man, I can't wait until the spoilers for this chapter \o/ Even just a little something to let me know what'll be going down will be enough to keep me pumped and ready for anything

Oh... let's think. A year has 52 weeks. 1 chapter/week. Several breaks. Then a year can have about 45-50 chapters released. 5 year can have 225-250 chapters. Then it must be around 1000 ^^
I'm turning my head up and down

I agree that the robbers are all right handed but I disagree with your deduction...kuro_shiro wrote:Spoiler: Third robber identified

Convenience store bentos are by definition bought at convenience stores. The thinking with Kei's change is that the robbers likely took some of the marked money and had been spending it at vending machines which would not differentiate the serial numbers, as opposed to clerks. He would get unmarked currency as change, which he could spend freely.ten wrote: A point of interest is the amount of coins and currency that the real Kei had in his possession -- if you link this change with buying habits for food it makes sense the money is for a machine. Supposing the robber is Furiya and if Kei had been buying bentos from vending machines regularly for her, that could explain the reason he had all the loose coins he had on him at the time -- he was going to buy a bento for her on the way back so he could get rid of and use all that accumulated change he got from previous purchases, and the reason he had so many smaller denomination bills was that the machine did not accept large bills.
For the other two women, considering the food that they consume, Kei would not have similar currency on him: the first woman works at a convenience store and the third woman either has food delivered or eats food she takes home from a restaurant/fast food place -- neither needing small currency for vending machines.
The trick would be to assume the woman robber employed the same strategy.
I am not familiar with whether actual gyuudon (beef rice) vending machines exist... They probably do as far as in restaurants though... The ones where you pay at the machine and bring your vended slip of paper to the waiter/waitress, and you can either eat there, or take it out.

Thinking about the 3 suspects (again 3 suspects
), the first one seems to be right handed since she use the right hand to flip the omelet and maybe to eat as well, and opening the door with the left hand doesn't matter since it's the way the door is placed.
The second one could be suspect and the shopping spree could be to buy new clothes and change hairstyle and hair color, also the boxed meals are not unusual since she just won the lottery as she says.
The third one seems the least suspect but the clue might be in the thrash(which is unclear since if you're a robber and a clue might be the garbage, you don't let others thow it for you).
I think Conan noticed something else we haven't noticed yet

Ah, thanks for the info Abs -- I like your reasoning much better than mine ... so then that means the robber is the third woman, Tegawa.Abs. wrote:Convenience store bentos are by definition bought at convenience stores. Where it said convenience store bentos, it meant specifically not from a vending machine ehh... is it from the size/type of box that Conan could deduce that?? =) After looking about gyudon I found a pic of those ticketing machines you mentioned wikipedia (that huge machine replaces a cashier??).
I remember the general idea of laundering money this way through machines has been covered before in a previous case where the criminals were making counterfeit money (the Soseki case). It seems like a slow method though if you were greedy and wanted a lot of money quickly, although you could risk it and speed up the process if you hired a bunch of mules to help you (you give them money for ticketing machines for food/travel/etc and they give you the change).

i read the file as soon as i came back from school. I was on my nerves at school!( good thing we didn't have anything important in math class)
I like it when Okiya said: It may well be that the one taking someone around... was actually conan-kun.
and when Amuro said: Well, a child's curiosity and a detective spirit of inquiry do have much in common after all
