Btw, which words does Sera used to refer her/him self with ?

"Ore", "Watashi", or "Boku" ?

Using "boku" / "Ore" should give more reason for Sera being a Guy

It's based upon the supposed spoiler (not sure where the spoiler cbox people got it from) of her name being Sera Masumi. Ask HADAA for the details but it has something to do with Char and Casval etc.

Sera Masumi sounds like Sayla Mass, who was Char Aznable's younger sister in the Original Gundam series

Not if she is a tomboy. Kino in Kino's Journey also used boku and she was female.

Spoiler: Theory about the case

The housewife Hirukawa is the culprit.

1) She was getting off the Annex elevator when Conan and the others were about to get on it.

2) She's the one who suggests using her car to go buy a recording device.  Something about backing up the car out of the parking space caused Hirukawa's trick to go into action and have Uesumi fall.

3) She pretends to see a suspicious figure on the roof in order for everybody to see the lined up pants and shoes.  Making everybody assume Uesumi fell from the roof instead of a different floor's window.  In this case, the 6th floor window Uesumi had broken previously using a fire extinguisher.

4) She wants to try and stay in the elevator instead of going out on the roof.  Most likely she wanted to clear up whatever part of her trick to kill Uesumi was still in there.  Sera explains that he/she saw the elevator stop on the 2nd and 6th floors.  The elevator opens on both sides.  Uesumi in the wheelchair (either already dead or unconscious) somehow was brought from the annex (2nd floor) to the 6th floor where the broken window was and fell out of the window from there.  Something Hirukawa set up kept Uesumi's momentum in the wheelchair going.  It's a motorized wheelchair, so something about the fishing line managed to keep it moving.

The wheelchair upon getting to the end of the room on the 6th floor by the window hit a paint can set up by Hirukawa and Uesumi fell from the window from suddenly being stopped.

Problem: How'd Hirukawa get the motorized wheelchair up to the 6th floor and then back down to the 2nd floor annex where Chiba found it, still moving?

5) The "hauntings" with the mysterious moving wheelchair are from Hirukawa testing out her trick in advance to get Uesumi to fall out the window.

Motive = Hirukawa's elderly father.

If Sera's deduction is incorrect, it's likely because s/he's neglected something just like Heiji did in his first appearance.

Spoiler: Theory about 'Sera'

Assuming the new spoiler that's out about 'Sera' being a girl is correct...:

"You're my type so I'll forgive you." = "You're also a girl/a marial artist so I'll forgive you."

Sera (more likely "Sarah" or "Sara") is half-Japanese/half-English and came from England after the tennis tournament after seeing Conan help out.  This is why she knows she much about him, his name, and also why she chose to use the English phrase "Case Closed" during the most recent file.  I've double-checked all the tennis files though and could not spot a cameo appearance by Sera.

The reason she only gave her name as "Sera" is because English speakers most of the time will only introduce themselves by first name.  I know this is true in America (at least where I'm from), but I'm not sure about England.

Sera is likely a completely new character, unrelated to anybody.

When/if she transfers into Teitan High School into Ran's class, I'm assuming she'll likely sit in the empty seat where Shin'ichi would be if he was there.

After visiting the spoiler chat box, I should say that I'm very disappointed that Sera was wrong with her deductions..

What's wrong with letting a character out wits Conan for once ? This rendering the "New Rival" theme void, unless the "Rival" was meant to be Martial Artist rival with Ran... (though i don't see any necessary needs / importance for Ran to have Martial Arts rival.. This is not the History Strongest Disciple Kenichi..)

If Sera's referencing to the Gundam's Sayla, then wouldn't it be possible for her to be Anokata sister/daughter ? since Char Aznable in the storyline IS the Antagonist (and the most awesome villain on the top of that)

I hope this new character doesn't have any link with the BO, and especially not with Akai, because that would be a tad too much for me. I'd rather him/her being just a good detective and helping out on a few occasions during (preferably good) cases.

Well, the new character appears to be a "she", so it's not exactly "more heiji". I'm more curious about what relationship this Sera will have with Ran, Sonoko, Conan on the long term than what his hypothetic link with the BO could be, because that would likely mean that this character is just another fuse.
