Thanks for the release.  Be nice if he timed  his breaks so that they're between cases instead of in the middle like they usually are. 

Gosho usually took breaks between a case to troll us by making us wait for the continuation of the series..

The third suspect is too obvious therefore it is unlikely that he is the culprit,  I am zooming in on the first guy, accidental tripping (he did when he entered his own room) always seem to mask something in old cases.

if it's the first guy, the lack of bubbles in his beer can tell can tell the time it was poured in the glass. The third guy also, there is one cigar where the burnt tobacco part looks quite long and the guy picked it up to show it to Takagi. Even if he won't be the culprit, I think he also wasn't in his room at the time.
The woman with the coffee seems the least suspect since her coffee was still steaming, so we have to see the victim's room for more clues

This is just something I noticed, but I'm not sure if it means anything...
The woman suspect, the first thing she said was along the lines of, "I was so shocked with the shout and I even spilled my coffee..." Her coffee seemed all right later on though, didn't it?

I think the cigarette guy is the most suspicious. Since, if you do something else or are away, you can't smoke your cigarette. So you'll leave the cigarette with a long "ash-chain" behind, like mentioned (How do you call that?!)
For the coffee tho, she could have thrown out the colder coffee and pour in newer, fresher and hotter coffee in her cup again.
That beer... that beer looks so fake since it doesn't have much froth.... WHAT'S WITH BEER HAVING SO FEW FROTH?!?!?! D:!
*ahem* Well, when you drink beer, the froth will decrease over time of course, but it will decrease more when you drink from it because of touching the froth with saliva and your skin fat.

coffee woman bit suspicious. she say she spilled it but it seem there still lot of coffee (and lack of spill evidence).

also if she spilled it does this mean coffee supposed to be colder.

and for my guess... maybe the woman like to boil her coffee!!! so it will last longer than normal coffee.

Well, has this already happened? A case with 2 files only? Anyway, I hope it takes 3 files max.

The woman seems to be the least suspicious when they entered her room she said "I wonder if I have any.." moreover she isn't like the others who want absolutely find the proof they were in their rooms a few minutes ago. But still, it is strange that we didn't see any traces of coffee since she said she had spilled some. Knowing Gosho it wouldn't be that surprising if it was her, it's always the least suspicious one who's the culprit.

It's really cool to see that Haibara isn't afraid of Okiya anymore.

Of course it has (Chiba's first love 1.0 : files 741-742). We've even had cases lasting only 1 file (one of which was never animated).

"Froth, steam, and smoke"

Subaru says explicitly the police officer searching their rooms immediately after the crime is a "state of affairs the culprit would not have been able to forsee." If that's the case, then each's "alibi" of being in their room during the murder is true.  So the illusion is not that the suspects were in their room (they actually were), but that the victim was thrown from his own room. Crack theory: It's a stretch (since it would be very risky in broad daylight), but none of the witnesses mentioned from where the victim fell from exactly (just "above") so we don't know for sure if he fell from the 3rd floor or 26th floor.  Maybe the culprit lured the victim back to their own room, killed him, cleaned up, and then threw him from their own window.  Cleaning up would take time, and during that time the froth/steam/smoke "alibi" would be gone if they had consumed those before murdering him -- so if they consumed it after cleaning up, and thus before throwing him out the window: drinking coffee or beer after killing someone doesn't seem a logical thing to do, but smoking a cigarette to calm your nerves might be (so it's the third guy?)

Conan lecturing Haibara about being careful not to be kidnapped -- after he himself gets kidnapped intentionally in a recent case, but only then to screw up in an important moment and get (unintentionally) kidnapped at gun point!
