Ran shielded Haibara with her body during the Jodie/Vermouth confrontation, and that Vermouth did not want any harm to come to Ran.  [Jodie and Vermouth know both of the above.  Ran obviously knows what she did, but doesn't know the full story behind the events that took place, and she probably did not notice Vermouth stopping Calvados from shooting her, and Vermouth deliberately shooting around Ran vs. at her.  Haibara probably didn't notice either.  Who knows when Akai showed up, but probably after this, since I bet he'd stop Calvados before the sniping if at all possible.  If Akai's a good guy, that is.]
2. Akai knows about Haibara.  [Shinichi knows that Akai knew Shiho, but he still doesn't know that Akai knows Haibara=Shiho, and therefore knows about the shrinking.]
3. Vermouth is supposedly the Boss' favorite.  [Everyone in the BO knows.]
4. Kaitou Kid's true identities - remember, two different people played the role [Yuusaku knows about the first, and so would easily be able to deduce the second if he hasn't done so already.]
5. Vermouth has some kind of death wish for the organization, and calls Akai and Shinichi her "silver bullets."  [The rest of the organization only knows that the Boss had called Akai the "silver bullet."]
6. Shiho has/had some feelings for him other than just fascination at the results of her experiments.
7. Akai liked to drink Bourbon.  (Even if Akai were still alive, I don't think that's something Akai would tell Conan.) [Jodie, James, and Camel know.  Well, Akai too.]

I don't really get why they changed that arc in the anime, nor why in the english manga they change the codenames to Kaspar and Melkior before later having Ai say that it's actually Gin and Vodka. They kinda link it with Kogoro making a comment about drinking Melkior Gin and Kaspar Vodka, but it's still kinda clumsy and pointless. I mean, why do they do this?
