File 693: Detectives Ran and Kazuha are a GO! [spoilers induced]

It always bothered me that so far we've had no follow up whatsoever from that case with Takagi and Conan in the exploding elevator... He had better figure it out, and soon...

I think the events in the elevator have affected Takagi, but it has been subtle. Take the "Let it be" serial murder case for example: in chapter 671 and 672, Takagi tells the other kids to wait in the car. Only Conan could visit the various suspects. Takagi also takes orders from Conan without a second thought, like in Genta's father's case.

He does that a lot, taking orders from Conan. Almost as readily as he follows instructions from Shinichi. Which REALLY makes me think he's figured it out and is just keeping quiet because he understands that Shinichi must have some reason for hiding like that.

I think when confronted, Heiji could just claim a meeting with Shinichi... Then he warns Conan and the synchronize stories. But that's probably too simple for Aoyama-sensei. Here's to a suspicion chapter!

There's suspicion in 697 (sort of). When Conan explains how Yoshikawa lines are made, Kogoro leans over him and says, "you learned it from TV again?" Conan sweatdrops and says, "ah... yes..."
