yeah that's sad...It's supposed to be DC 20th anniversary,and Gosho takes more breaks than usual,instead of giving us more DC good cases.
On a side note,I never really liked Kid,and with this 5 weeks break I hate him even more.

In a more serious note, I wonder if these chapters will be included in the new MK coming soon? I thought it was a different thing, from the manga ?
That would get some kind of different name I'd assume than just Magic Kaito don't you think?
I was just supposing it, since the Magic Kaito manga will have 3 new chapters and there's an anime coming soon. But now that I think about it, it can't possibly be the case since it will be around the same period ; the airing and manga publishing. I just thought that MK manga would be before the airing for some reason.
Ah, getting some Magic Kaito chapters will be lovely. Perhaps they might be combined with Chapters 29 and 30 for a new volume? Or perhaps 29, 30, our incoming trio, and a couple more? I suspect this does mark the end of any major plot development in the Manga for a while, but I'll take what we get.

For Rum, the damaged eye indicates to me that we're going to end up with some more major characters incoming I imagine. I think the only one we have at the moment would be Kansuke Yamato, but he seems unlikely at best.
...actually, missed Matsumoto. Might fit, but I don't know if the eye is faked or just was missed by the slash.

Yeah I doubt they're going to be adapted either but lol this is like half a year we're talking about here anyway if they're going to be the final episodes.
We don't know when Gosho drew that Kaito episodes. Though I myself also think that we won't see them animated, there's always a chance that he drew them long time ago, and they indeed will be animated.

Actually depends on the studio, really. There's the organized, timely studios which do everything in advance and the procrastinating studios which occasionally have to air recap episodes and find somewhere to put the missing episode because "oh no we're not done with the episode in time to air it!".

Matsumoto had that bit at the end of the case with his daughter(?) where he was seen in the future, I think maybe? IDK. But whatever, I'm up for more Yamato/Koumei/Uehara cases if they're a possibility ^^.

Is the Rum character really necessary? If Gosho wanted to add another adversary for Conan, why not use Gin more? It's like he's been left out these last few years even though he's at the origin of the series! (turning Shinichi into Conan and all)
