i disagree, when okiya was in the professor house, she also felt his presence, so it has already been confirmed

i don't think so. the didn't feel the"pressure" when okiya was in the professor house.she was just hidding cause she suspect him during the fire case,but she wasn't sure it was really okiya the responsible of that "smell"!

then,in the ikkaku rock case,she felt the pressure when okiya tried to save ayumi,that's why she said"it's him" .it's in this moment she was sure he has contact with BO!

I'm kinda hoping that Ai's BO Sense is defective because I really, really don't want Okiya to be a bad guy... Although when I think rationally, he probably is Bourbon since there are no other new characters that are introduced in the arc so far.

having contact with bo doesn't mean that okiya is a bad guy!ai also was in the BO,and Akai too,but they 're not bad! i trust haibara's radar,i don't think it 's defective (like with doctor araid,she felt  the pressure ,but he always was with jodie,so we didn't suspect him) !

that's why i think  okiya can be someone who was a BO member but for some reason he escaped,and worked with fbi or cia(assuming that okiya isn't bourbon or akai)!

but i think it would be fun if okiya was actually bourbon(and not akai),and finally help conan and fbi like rena(bourbon is a new member, so he can change of camp)

well the point is he is not doing anything . The same thing happened with Camel, i guess we all believed he was a part of BO, if not that then he was just acting suspicious. For example, who actually suspected Araide-sensei? I was glad I wasn't drinking water during 345, because if I was, my laptop would have been sprayed.

I think the confusion about Okiya's identity is Aoyama-sensei's doing. Since we've seen episodes 188-189 (the flashlight trick that Conan used), we might be thinking that Aoyama-sensei would do the same thing to us! Maybe he drops the "flashlight" (in this example, the Bourbon bottle) as a hint, but we're thinking that Aoyama-sensei gave a misleading hint, so we think that Okiya is not Bourbon, when he is in fact Bourbon. Ahh!

ahh exactly. OK well i don't want him to be as bad as Gin, i kind of want him to be loyal to no one (neither the BO nor the 'good' side) and just a really smart detective who's looking for someone to go head to head with. and maybe Conan letting him stay at his house is like a challenge - 'go on, see what you can find out about me!'

...though I think I'm hoping for too much because I don't think Conan will do something so reckless. :/
